Great product!
It was easy to setup and works flawlessly with home assistant and Apple HomeKit.I recommended writing down the matter codes in an excel sheet or something.

Super easy to setup withe Home Assistant
These have been the easiest smart plugs to setup of all the ones I have (eg Kasa, Shelly). With the Matter integration installed in Home Assistant the install is just scan the code in the 3R app, WiFi is added automatically, give it a name, copy the Matter sharing code and paste it into Home Assistant and it’s done. 4 plugs setup in less then 10 mins.Thye is at the time of writing a non critical bug in that the plug reports some incorrect data for voltage to Home Assistant (they are working on it according to the support forum) but the important data, power consumption reported, is correct. One of the reasons I by 3R product is they actually update their firmware, even on their Zigbee devices (they only company apart from Philips that updates zigbee firmware).

Great Features Poor Reliability
I got this because I like the Thirdreality brand and I wanted a Matter smart plug with energy monitoring for Home Assistant. The plug itself is compact and does not block the second outlet. It feels solid and well-made and pairing it through Matter was easy the first time. Energy monitoring showed up right away and the data started updating almost immediately. When it is working, it works really well. I found the energy monitoring updates very fast, fast enough to be useful for automations. I could see power changes within a few seconds when a device turned on or off. Turning the plug on and off through Home Assistant worked without delay. The problem started when I unplugged it to move it. After plugging it back in, it refused to reconnect. I waited, retried, and eventually had to factory reset it. I tested this again later and the same thing happened. Any short power loss would cause the same headache, which is a big issue for a smart home device.I gave it 3 stars because the core features are excellent, but reliability matters more. I like the Matter support, fast energy reporting, and compact size. I do not like that it fails to reconnect after a power interruption and requires a reset. At 12.99 the price is fair, but the reconnect issue makes it hard for me to trust it. If that one problem was fixed, this would easily be a 5-star plug.

Flawless Integration with Google Assistant/Home
The smart plugs work great! Most importantly they work seamlessly with Google Home/Assistant and were very easy to hook into GA.

Only partially works in Home Assistant
While the basic on/off function works in Home Assistant, none of the power monitoring works correctly. Product returned.

Buggy Matter energy reporting. Energy (kWh) and Power (W) correct, but V & A very wrong
Actually supports Matter 1.4 energy reporting, but Voltage and current are garbage. They just jump between random unrealistic values. The power and energy seem reasonable though, and this is the most important measurement

Quite an Easy Matter
Quite pleased with the purchase. One of my first matter devices and it didn’t disappoint. Connectivity with HomeKit and Home assistant worked flawlessly. No intentions of going back to Wemo.

What would have been the best Matter over Wifi smart plug, ruined by poor connectivity
I use Matter to connect this thing to Home Assistant. It connects no problem, and I can turn the plug on and off no problem. The energy monitoring data also shows. This data updates really fast for a smart plug. In my testing is could detect a device being turned on in 3 to 4 seconds, and could detect a device being turned off in 4 to 5 seconds. This is the fastest I have every recorded, which is awesome for automations. Everything was great…Until I unplugged it for a second and plugged it back in to relocate it. After doing that, it straight up refused to reconnect. I tried and tried. Eventually I gave up and factory reset the device, and I even tried turning off my 5Ghz wifi when re-pairing just to be safe. After re-pairing it worked great again, but then I decided to test it again. So I unplugged it from the wall just for a second and plugged it back in. It again refused to reconnect after waiting and trying for quite a while for it to reconnect. This is unacceptable. Any time there is a quick power outage, or even a little brownout, this thing would give me headaches. It completely ruins an otherwise great products. Smart home products dont feel so smart when they are not reliable. If they fixed that one singular issue, this would easily be a 5-star product. But that one issue is just to critical, sadly
