We prviously had an Eureka E10 vacuum and mop robot for 4 years. We had no idea what we were missing until we purchased this Narwal Freo X10 Pro.It maps very fast.It is extremely quite.The vacuum then mop with a refreshed mop head solution is much better than dragging around a robot mop pad with no way to clean it without removing and washing it.We have 3 Australian Sheppards that shed alot. This was the number one concern, whereas the prvious unit needed daily attention. Not a single hair tangle in the floating rotating brush of this unique Narwal Freo X10 Pro Robot vacuum.4 months of no robot management is wonderful.The application was easy to use with a ton of customizable options.The AI option to recognize various floor types and throw rugs ensures a complete clean and quick simple setup.Lastly the price vs product was very reasonable.Great product! After spending many months researching, we are glad we made this investment.

After three months, a complete failure.
I absolutely loved this machine for the first three months. It was perfect. It vacuumed and mopped my floors on a schedule. I have hardwood tile and area rugs. I had my mapping completely set up so when it mopped it avoided the area rugs it cleaned meticulously and for a 3700 square-foot house it took hours of work off of me.Recently, it started completely not working. I had not changed any of the settings. It was on the schedule, but all of a sudden it was not cleaning rooms. I asked it to do quick tasks so I could watch it and it would go into a room turn around go back to the dock and it would say it had completed the job when the cleaning had been done. It began to mark all of my room rooms as carpet. Again, I had not changed any settings from the first three months. I contacted the company and they continuously asked me for information email after email asking me to show them pictures or check my settings which I would tell them I did and I was aware of and they suggested that the carpet setting was on so that it would avoid the room completely(which is ridiculous on so many fronts being that the kitchen is tile and it claims it’s carpet). I have been unable to get it to do anything correctly, and I cannot allow it to do it schedule at night since it might mop one of my rugs. (because all of my map settings have been changed to complete carpet and I can’t get it to recognize rug areas.) the company has not been helpful at all, so I am looking at another company that has a new mop and vacuum out with newer sensors and hoping I might do better with that. I loved the machine. I would be happy if they offered to fix it, but the company has been an absolute failure and offered absolutely no assistance rather they just continue to try and send useless emails which I don’t even have time for and suggest that it is my operating error. While in many situations that could be the case, I have checked and recheck my settings to no avail. In one of the photos above, you will see it went into a room and left the room and said task completed and had I not watched it with my own eyes; I would’ve presumed that the room was completed.Edit as of 12/20/2024: after I had for the most part given up on the correspondence; the company then contacted me and said they would be happy to take it back and they would send me a mailing label. I responded that I would not send it back if I had to pay.(I was one month over the return limit when this started). One response said I would have to pay and get a box and the other response said they would pay; regardless -I was going to have to pay for whatever repair and for me after reading other reviews; the repairs do not seem worth the investment and it is repeatedly suggested to purchase a repair contract which also costs more. My new machine by a different company is working very well so far. And actually does a better job on thick rugs. I finally decided to just donate the machine to Goodwill and if somebody else wants to fight with repair; they’re welcome to..

Amazing robot helper
I’ve been using this robot vacuum for about a month now, and I have no regrets about buying it! It’s noticeably quieter than my previous robot vacuum, and the mopping performance is excellent. I really like that it has two large water tanks—one for clean water and one for dirty—which makes a big difference as it easily covers my entire house on a single run.I don’t have carpet, so I can’t speak to how it performs there, but for vacuuming and mopping tile and hard floors, it absolutely deserves high praise. The battery is another big plus—it can clean my whole house before needing to return to the base to recharge.The app is fantastic. The mapping is very accurate, and there are plenty of cleaning options to customize different areas of the house. The initial app setup did require some help, but customer support was quick and very helpful. Overall, I’m a very satisfied customer and would definitely recommend it!

I’ve been singing praises of my Narwal vacuum robot to so many people that I lost count. It is a life-changing invention. Now I have 3 vacuum robots, one on each floor. An older model of Roborock and two Narwals. I’ve been using the Roborock for about 1.5 years and the two Narwals for about several months.The new Narwal model is quiet (enough), supports all kinds of customized cleaning sequence and intensity. Most importantly, Narwal has achieved true zero hair entanglement and cleans mops on its own. I have a lot of hair on the floor especially in the bathroom. Previously with Roborock, I always need to pre-clean the floor with swiffer first. NO NEED at all with Narwal. This means I only need to change the water tank and empty the dustbin from time to time. If you always have human or pet hair on the floor, this is a huge win.The App allows you to set the cleaning sequence–we’ve chosen to vacuum first and then mop. If your floors are clean enough, you can also choose to vacuum and mop at the same time. I have them run on automated cleaning routines 4 times a week on hardwood floors and tiles. The floors after cleaning are as clean as can be. The robot has LiDAR sensor and runs fine even in darkness. The only thing to watch out for, is not to clutter the floor with excessive power cables. The robot might get tangled with cable in narrow corners where it is hard to turn and maneuver.Narwal also cleans and dries mops on its own. When mopping the floor, it allows you to choose how frequently you want it to return to base and clean the mop, e.g., every X square metres, so that it runs on clean mops throughout the house. Great engineering, isn’t it! After the entire routine, it will wash the mop and dry with hot air. I’ve checked the mops from time to time; they are dry and clean. no mold buildup, which is important.I also take out the base plate (in the base, beneath the robot) once in a month to clean. There are some minor dry stains. nothing serious; just reasonable maintenance as you would for any appliances.The Narwals are so good, which makes me want to replace my older model Roborock as well. The only reason that was holding me back is that we only got the Roborock for about 1.5 years. It is too wasteful to get rid of it. So for now, in terms of house floor cleaning, I have a happiness score of 8.5 out of 10, without any hired help.

We have had our Narwal for about a month now and all I can say is WOW!!! I am blown away by three things.1. The way the roller brush captures animal hair is mind blowing. We have an Irish Wolfhound that leaves hair throughout the house. Since we started using this, there is barely anything on the ground (daily cleaning) and have yet to have a brush tangle.2. The mop function is incredible. This vacuum/map does such an amazing job on our floors. Every morning we wake up to spotless floors.3. This thing is quiet. I actually like the fact that there is no dust bin capture in the base. It’s so quick an easy to empty that it’s really not an issue. You can barely hear the thing while it’s cleaning the house. Truly impressed. The loudest part is when it cleans the mops, but even then it’s not that loud.Setup was fairly easy, but as others have mentioned, connecting to your Wifi for the first time can be a challenge. It found my Wifi, I entered the password, but it wouldn’t finish the setup. I just ended up force closing the app and opened it back up, started the process again and it went through.Mapping the house was fairly easy, but I did notice a few errors it made and had to remap a few times. Not a big deal as it’s a very fast process. I ended up putting down fake cardboard walls to help it separate certain rooms (rather than making it one giant room). Seemed to fix the problem. I also had to cover a few mirrors in the house as it though there was a secret portal into another dimension! LOLThe app for the most part is intuitive and easy to use. Mapping a second floor is a PITA, and it does not work the same as it does for the first floor. You can only select an entire area rather than an individual room. Also, I can’t figure out how to tell it to mop on the second floor as it needs it’s base. Luckily for us we have mostly carpet on the second floor.Customer support is non existent so don’t get your hopes up. I have emailed there team a few times and still no response. I have also tried the Reddit Forum and you get a response, but they tell you to email their CSR team and you fall into a never ending cycle of ‘NO SUPPORT’. All of my issues have to do with the APP and not about the machine itself… just an FYI. Repair support may be faster.As for the machine and base itself. It’s a premium robot vacuum and it is hands down the nicest looking of the bunch. We also got the auto water exchange system and it works like a dream. If you can plumb it in, make the purchase. You won’t regret it!
