The GE-branded UltraPro Window and Door Alarms provide a simple-to-use, cost-effective security solution to protect against home invasions. The 120-decibel alarms are loud enough to make a would-be intruder think twice about entering through your doors or windows. Each alarm features an easy-access chime/OFF/alarm switch. The straightforward design makes your security setup intuitive and streamlined. With no wires required for installation, protecting an entry point is as easy as mounting the alarm using the included double-sided tape. When a door or window is opened the alarm’s base becomes separated from its magnet, triggering a gentle chime or ringing alarm. It’s even great for alerting you when other indoor areas, like cabinets and drawers, are accessed. Powered by four included LR44 batteries, the LED indicator on the front will notify you when power is low. This set of GE-branded UltraPro Personal Security Window and Door Alarms are perfect for homes, apartments, dorm rooms, offices, RVs, campers and much more.
Safe and Secure – Ward off would-be intruders with a 120-decibel alarm triggered by a high-quality magnetic sensor, or choose for a chime to sound when windows or doors are opened and closed

    Works great and very loud
One of our doors became disconnected from our alarm system. The alarm company wanted to charge us well over $1,000 to reconnect it. This GE Personal Security alarm saved us a lot of money and works wonderfully. It is very loud so we can hear it from any room and it’s easy to turn off , on chime and in alarm settings.

    Does the Job
This product was purchased to keep my little escape artist inside the house. We installed locks he can’t reach but, since other people go in and out, there’s no way to guarantee they stay locked ALL the time. This handy device helps fill the gap by making sure mama knows EVERY time someone goes through the door! It’s VERY easy to install — if you don’t have any trim around your door. If you have trim, you’ll need to either forego the alarm or cut into the trim to make a space, because this needs to sit flush. But assuming you have the space for it, just make sure the area is clean and dry and stick it on with the (included) adhesive foam strips. It comes with batteries already installed; you’ll just need to remove the piece of plastic preventing them from making contact so they don’t burn out prior to purchase. They are, however, some weird button batteries, so when it’s time to replace them, they can’t be replaced with a trusty AAA.The overall device — both pieces — is a little smaller than I had anticipated. I’d say it’s a little smaller than two side-by-side boxes of matches. It has three settings: off, alarm, and chime. Off is pretty self-explanatory. I assume if it’s set to alarm, it will go off continuously when the door or window is opened. We keep it set on chime, so it goes off once every time the door is opened. It makes a very loud, obnoxious digital chiming sound; you’ve probably heard it if you’ve ever been in a store that announces your presence with an electronic chime. It isn’t a very pleasant sound if you’re standing right beside it, but I’m able to hear the downstairs door from upstairs, so there are benefits to its being as loud as it is.I wish it were designed to use a AAA battery, because the button batteries are exceptionally hazardous around children, but I have no complaints about the alarm’s functionality.

    Great Alarm
These window and door alarms are definitely a great investment if you don’t want the expenses of a traditional alarm system. I installed these alarms on all entry doors to my home and all windows that open. The alarm is extremely loud and can be heard easily anywhere in the home. The 3M two sided tape seems to be holding so far. Overall a great inexpensive investment for extra security.

Very loud chime, easy set up with a tiny screw driver, read before clicking “checkout”
Initial impressions only.First thing to note – make sure you have a very small Phillips-head screwdriver for the battery case. If you have an eyeglass repair kit, it will work.Secondly, I bought this set specifically for the chime feature. I have varying needs for the door/window sensors from “this window should never be opened and will be alarm-setting only” to “this door is opened often and I just want a chime on it to alert me during the day.” Very few sensors, even at higher price points, have the chime, so I can’t be too picky, but it’s LOUD and very high-pitched – it’s less of a chime than a screech. It’s a short blast of the alarm. Someone with average hearing will be able to *clearly* hear the chime from the other side of the house. When in the same room, it’s too much. My plan to keep most of the sensors on chime during the day isn’t going to work. I will give myself and my cats heart attacks every time the chime is activated; it’s not the neutral “bong” I was expecting.Luckily, the switch to adjust the settings are easy to reach so you will just have to get in the habit of resetting it as needed.I’m not looking forward to testing each one as I install them, but, again, at this price point, it’s a small inconvenience. Finally, each sensor requires 4 LR44 1.5v batteries. Go ahead and toss a bulk pack into your cart now while you are thinking about it.Another positive is the large battery test button on the front. It’s easy to check if you need to replace the batteries, and the notification is a change in the light color, not an alarm.

    Easy to install
These are very load and easy to install. I almost didn’t get them after reading some reviews of how hard it was to open the battery department to remove the plastic tab. First off there was no need to remove it. You simply pull the tab out. Secondly the door for the battery compartment comes off easy. So unless you aren’t able to figure out simple things this will work for you.

Very loud alarm. Would totally recommend
Put this alarm on the bedroom door upstairs so I could hear if my toddler aged grandkids were up or sleep walking. Was nervous about them and the stairs. It works great. Alerted me when they were up and leaving their room. The alarm is VERY LOUD.

They are loud and fairly Indiscreet
They come in a box much smaller than what it looks like as advertised so the advertisement is a little misleading but they do the trick the design is on point the sensitivity seems to be on point, it definitely gives you a sense of safety because the alarms functionality is really really well designed and it’s loud enough to ward off Intruders or to make sneaky kids who are trying to sneak out think twice especially their first or even second time as these are very Indiscreet and you can even put them on the outside of the window so you can show them that you weren’t born yesterday anyways hope this review helps and just wanted to make sure you knew that they were all the same size. I thought one was bigger for some reason but I will show you a video of the box and what it actually looks like and how they come

I live in a somewhat remote rural area, and in a house with a number of downstairs windows and doors. For security reasons, and following some minor thefts in other properties nearby, I needed either a full alarm system or individual alarms for windows and doors. I saw these, and thought I would give them a try. There are two parts to each alarm – the main alarm and a smaller, magnetised piece that fits on either the door/window or door/window frame. The parts are attached to window/door by the supplied double sided sticky patch (this is a surprisingly strong bonding sticky patch, and I have no doubt it will remain in place for some time). The two pieces of the alarm shoould be attached in such a way that there is a narrow gap between the two parts. To turn the alarm on one simply moves the side switch on the main alarm piece down as far as it will go. (Moving it half way down gives a single chime when the door/window is opened). To turn off the alarm simply close the window/door, or physically move the switch to the ‘off’ position. The alarm itself is quite loud (110 – 120 decibels – I have seen both quoted in literature and on the box! Whatever it is, it’s loud!)This package, with 12 alarms for £50 (the price I paid) has turned out to be good value as far as meeting what I needed, the ease of installation and the noise each alarm makes when triggered; as such I can recommend them.(These are my own thoughts on an item I have bought myself and found useful.)

Très bonne petite alarme pour protéger les fenêtres du sous-sol.Et le bruit a l’ouverture est assez striden.
