Super bright, high quality, and great sound. Google TV rocks.
Love the picture quality and sound. Way bigger than I imagined it would be, though.

    Wireless connect is a nightmare
Great projector. However I have spend hours to connect using iPhone mirroring or using Iprojection app native from Epson, which consistent “projector not found”. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a IT person, I have tried all the settings, WiFi config, restart iPhone, projector, soft/firm ware updates, using QR code or ip addresses, read online chats, or even try to connect with epson person. Now, if you just using it to watch TV, YouTube, it’s a perfect projector with great sound. But for me, I want to mirror my phone or wireless project for presentation, or anything wireless connection related, it’s a nightmare.

Solid, High-End Projector with Easy Setup—Initial Impressions
I’m not able to fully test this projector yet because I still need to install a ceiling-mounted dropdown screen (I don’t have any usable wall space). However, I did want to share my initial impressions based on unboxing, setup, and basic use.The projector arrived very well packaged, with good protection inside the box to keep it from moving during shipping. There was no damage to the box or the projector itself. It comes with a remote control and power cord, and my first impression was that this unit is bigger and more substantial than I expected. It measures about 18.5″ x 16″ and weighs a little over 16 pounds, so it feels very solid and high quality.Physically, the layout is straightforward. It has multiple ports (including HDMI, USB, Bluetooth, and a jack), and it also connects via Wi-Fi. There’s a power button on the side and venting on the top. It was very easy to get it plugged in and powered on. Because this is an ultra-short throw projector and I don’t have a screen yet, I tried projecting it onto my ceiling just to see what it could do, and even that image was very bright and clear.Setup was simple. The built-in Google TV was easy to set up using a barcode, and menu navigation is intuitive. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth setup were both easy as well. I’m not a technical person, but the interface feels smooth and responsive.I also tested the sound. I’m not an expert on audio, but the Bose sound is clear and strong enough for my living room. Dialogue is easy to hear, and it has a nice fullness for built-in speakers. That said, I plan to use my external surround sound system with it once my setup is complete. The laser projector itself is quieter than I expected. The fan noise is not loud at all, and the unit doesn’t put out an excessive amount of heat for a projector of this size. It also powers on very quickly.Overall, my initial impression is that this is a very solid, premium projector with good user-friendly design and easy setup. Based on build quality, features, and my early use so far, I feel comfortable giving it 5 stars. Once I have my ceiling screen installed and can really test picture performance in a proper setup, I will update this review with more detailed results.

Turns a conference room wall into a TV screen
We have a small conference room in an office. We rent the space for our offices and aren’t allowed to attach things to the walls, so we aren’t able to mount a TV to the wall. The room also has a loft ceiling, so hanging a projector down from above isn’t really an option. The only thing we had to work with is a table on the same wall as the wall we wanted the TV upon. Boom! This projector is the perfect solution to our problem. It was really easy to setup. I didn’t have to focus it or anything. I just put the projector onto the table, plugged it in, and scanned a QR code. I had it up and running within 20 minutes. It uses my Google account so that is pretty simple. The remote is easy to understand, and interface is good too.The only thing that suprised me is that the sound, which is provided by Bose isn’t quite what I thought it would be. I’m watching a F1 race on the conference room wall right now and the engines are not screaming at me. It seems to lack some bass. The picture brightness was set initially at 50% and I did turn it up. Our walls aren’t the brightest white so the picture needed a little adjustment. We will have no trouble at all running meetings using this projector. I know it wasn’t cheap, but we would have easily spent this much in fines for mounting something to the wall.
