Solid mount, but first-time set up can be a bit annoying
I needed to be able to mount another monitor above an existing one that sat on a table (on its own stand/foot) and this mount was more than long enough to do the trick. Both the monitor being mounted and the monitor it was mounted above are 24″ and the arm did not need to be slid to the very edge to accomplish this (it rests a few inches down from the top). Came with all the required hardware and hex wrenches needed for tightening/adjusting the mount. It was a bit of work getting it all set up, you definitely need to crank down on the bolts to ensure it doesn’t slip at all once the monitor is mounted. I found the included VESA screws to be a tad too long, so I padded them with a few small washers from the nearest hardware store and was able to securely fasten the monitor to the mount. A major annoyance was that once the monitor was in place, the weight on the arm when extended was enough to cause sagging due to very minor flexing of the table. The sag wasn’t bad (about a half inch or so at max extension) but it was enough that I had to (carefully) loosen the arm clamp and slide it up a bit to compensate. Not a huge deal, but something to watch out for when setting it all up. Once it was all set up to my satisfaction, it works great and I haven’t had any issues with it. One small touch that I liked was the inclusion of holes in the back of the lower cable clamps where the hex wrenches fit, so you don’t have to worry about them getting lost when the time comes for removing or readjusting the mount (you WILL need them or suitable common replacements to adjust anything major). Build quality was good, it consisted of nice thick metal pieces that fastened together tightly.Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the quality and price of this mount. Future adjustments might be a bit annoying, but once it was all set up to my liking and tightened securely, it works great. I doubt I’ll be adjusting it much in the future, if at all.

Need a tall monitor stand? This is the one for you!
I recieved the monitor stand today. Assembly to completion no more than 15 mins. Was concerned about the weight of my 2nd monitor that was getting mounted. This stand has 0 issues with a 12lb monitor. The arm only has about 2 inches of clearance left from the top of the stand. Sturdy design with plenty of room on the arm for adjustments. Cable clamps on the stand that are provided are a plus for keeping cables secured. I did not use the C-Clamp, I used the grommet option which was included (awesome to have this option). I did have a concern about how secure the grommet option was going to be. Once again 0 issues. BIG PLUS for the rubber stickers that you install on the grommet base plate to keep from scratching your desk while installing. Great price, great quality, easy assembly. I will be recommending this product to my fellow nerdz!**Update June 29 2020**Monitor stand still up, same 12lb Monitor, zero issues!

I recently purchased the VIVO Single Monitor Desk Mount for my home office setup and overall, I’m quite pleased with this product. Very sturdy stand, i don’t like my monitors to wobble as i hit / move my desk and this is a perfect product holding the monitor strongly in its place.Easy to install, easy to adjust and lock in place.

Great for hoisting up the spare monitor over the ultra wide, and trust it above the ultra wide also. Had some troubles with installation but the customer service was quick and sorted it well, we had it up within half an hour (including our blunders), had it for over 6 months now and works fine, stable and functional. Good product & good support.

Très satisfaite. S’adapte bien et est solide. J’ai un écran curve de 49″. Je l’ai choisi car la fixation au bureau est plat à l’arrière du support entre le bureau et le mur. Donc il n’a pas d’espace incommodante entre le mur et le bureau.

Le support tient bien depuis maintenant 6 mois, aucune chute à déplorer. L’installation a été un peu compliquée, surtout avec un écran aussi grand, mais à deux ça s’est fait sans trop de problème. Une fois en place, il est très stable et pratique. Je recommande si vous avez un grand écran et un peu de patience pour l’installation !
