Absolutely essential for smart home
As a connoisseur of decorative LED lighting, these smart plugs are an absolute essential for my home. Setup & pairing is very simple & requires no hidden subscription or additional cost. The app integrates seamlessly with Alexa so new devices are automatically added & can be controlled with voice commands. The only downside is the width of the devices, making them difficult to use with horizontal outlet splitters though they work wonderfully with vertical surge protectors. TreatLife is always my go to brand for quality, affordable smart home devices.

Another great Treatlife product! 5 stars. Perfect for older people that are not tech savvy.
Another great Treatlife product! Perfect for the Christmas Tree!I couldn’t be happier with this Magnetic Remote Control Outlet! It’s incredibly easy to use right out of the box—just plug it in, and you’re good to go. No programming or tools required, which was a huge relief because my mom uses it and she is not tech savvy. I’ve been looking for one of these for a long time and this is perfect! The magnetic remote is a game-changer. I love that it sticks securely to my fridge, so it’s always within reach. No more hunting for remotes or bending down to unplug appliances! It’s especially helpful for controlling my coffee maker and a hard-to-reach lamp. The independent control for three outlets is another fantastic feature. Each outlet works seamlessly with the remote, and the strong signal even passes through walls. I’ve tested it at a distance, and it works perfectly, even beyond 100 feet.I also appreciate the space-saving design, which doesn’t block other sockets. It fits snugly behind furniture and blends in well with my decor. The safety features and FCC certification give me peace of mind, especially since it turns off automatically after a power outage. This product is ideal for anyone who values convenience, especially the elderly or those with mobility issues. It’s a simple, thoughtful way to make daily tasks easier. Highly recommend!

Great product!
I originally purchased the Amazon’s Smart Plug through a promotion, and later purchased the Treatlife Smart Plug 4 Pack to replace all my old manual timers for our indoor and outdoor Christmas lights. So glad I did!! The Amazon Smart plug works great, easy to set up, but way too expensive. I had some issues setting up the Treatlife smart plugs; however, after I got them online, it was easy to configure my routines or schedules in the Treatlife app. I like the Treatlife app better than the Amazon’s Alexa app; BUT, in order to use Alexa you’re stuck with Amazon. Beyond the initial setup, the Treatlife Smart Plugs are convenient, a great value, a little smaller than Amazon plugs, and they work great with Alexa. Again, the setup could be easier. I’ve had some incidents where plugs (lights) turn on beyond routines. (Hey, why is the downstairs light on in the middle of the night!) Also, plugs won’t fit inside outside bubble outlet box (I guess it’s not intended for exterior use). Overall, I highly recommend.

Fast easy setup. Works great.
I have a few smart plugs already. And I needed two more for my garage. Treatlife has become my go to brand for smart switches, plugs and dimmers. I don’t even shop around anymore; I just look for Treatlife products. Some of the other ones I have take up both of the plugs in the socket because they are big. This one takes up only one plug and leaves the other plug free. I also have a few outlets with USB chargers built into the plug and this switch allows me to use them as well. Some others will block the usb outlets. (See Picture)I wanted to control the overhead lights I have in my workshop/garage with voice commands. I have three overhead lights in various locations. One is currently controlled by a Treatlife three way wifi switch. The other two are controlled by pull chains. Now instead of the pull chains, I can control them with voice commands via Alexa. If you don’t have Alexa, you can use your phone to control them as well. I set them up in a group with Alexa and I can turn one light on or off at a time or all three at once. Many of times I have left the shop light on at the far end of the garage. Now instead of walking to the back of the garage (I am an old fart), I can simply tell Alexa to turn them off from anywhere in my house that Alexa can hear me from. Or, I can use the app on my phone. Sometimes when I pull out of my driveway, I notice I left the lights on in the garage, I can use my phone and either use the Alexa app or the Treatlife app to turn them off without going back into the house. The set up was easy:Download the Treatlife appPlug the smart plug into the wallFollow the steps in the app and in a few minutes, you will be controlling a plug with your voice or phone.I purchased the 4 pack as I plan to use them in other lamps in my house. I plan to use one for my bedroom night stand light. This way, I can turn on my bedroom light before I enter the dark bedroom and also, I can turn it off when lying in bed. And if I have to get up when it is dark out, I can tell Alexa to turn on the light without fishing for the lamp switch. There are plenty of uses for these plugs. They will control anything up to 400 watts.

Beware.
Easy to install and use; until it’s not. Had them for a year, with only a few of the typical smart device issues. But now the phone app has stopped communicating with Alexa. The app still controls the outlets, but it will not talk to Alexa despite deleting, rebooting, re-connecting, re-pairing, etc. Found nothing online on how to fix the issue, but lots of users mention having the same issue, and always after the warranty expires. Just beware. If you figure it out, let us know.

I ordered this 4 pack since I wanted to replace a few timer plugs for lights (Christmas tree, deck lights etc). After downloading the Treatlife app on my iphone, I initially could not connect to the device. It turns out my phone had to be on the 2.4ghz wifi to setup the plug instead of 5ghz (which the app indicated). Once this was switched the app detected the plug and setup was simple and intuitive. There is a lot of customization in the app. Basic timed on/off functionality was all I needed for the lights but I setup my espresso machine to turn itself off after 1 hour of use (inching). I liked the app so much that I ended up buying a Treatlife smart switch (single pole) for my front door lights. The devices can be controlled remotely (when you’re away) which is a nice feature. The software seems pretty stable in the plugs but every so often (once a month) I need to unplug and replug to reset connectivity. Overall I’m impressed.

I purchased an Amazon smart plug at the same time as my Echo Dot. I used the smart plug to control my bedside lamp and fell in love with it. I wanted to get more but the Amazon smart plugs are pretty pricey. I was happy to find a 4 pack of these for the same price I would pay for 1 amazon smart plug. I was worried about the quality but I find they work just as well. They were easy to set up through the Treatlife app but I did struggle a bit with linking them to Alexa. The instructions provided said to search for the smart life skill through the Alexa app but I was able to get it working after searching for “Treatlife” in “Skills and Games”, enabling it and signing in with my Treatlife login. I am using both the 4 pack of the Treatlife plugs and my Amazon plug through Alexa now without issues.

The plugs are a great physical shape, easy to move around and access the built in power switch. A number of other round designs look cool, but have been hard to work with. Note that with these, I could not put them side by side on a power bar, they are just a bit too wide, so you will lose a slot.Connecting them was fast, and they have an excellent response time to Alexa. HOWEVER, I found that I could not get the manufacturer’s suggested app from Treatlife to work. Issues with creating an account, logging in, it was very frustrating. I decided to try connecting the plugs through another app called Smart Life (which my Alexa was already connected to) and that app found the plugs and installed them very quickly.

Firstly, I spent almost two hours just to configure these plugs for my hall light lamps which was too frustrating because I have a latest ignite wifi which automatically controls 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency but thankfully from the “ignite WiFi” app I was able to separate those into two respectively. After that, I started following the steps from the instruction guide which navigated me to the “TreatLife App” which was automatically shutting off the plug while pairing, that means it was application issue because I tried all of three pairing methods to add a plug. After spending some time checking videos of configuring these plugs, I found third party application “Smart Life” which was working fantastic. It was very quick to pair these plugs using this application by simply holding the button of plug till 5 second to wait for light to blink rapidly and then from Smart Life app select “Socket(Wifi)”, then select the plug(s) and you’re done in few minutes.Google/Alexa Connectivity:After Configuring plugs in Smart Life App, you can simply click on the plug(on Home page) so it will redirect you to power on/off page and there you can find out the small pencil icon on top right corner which has option to integrate the selected plug with google/alexa.Lastly, all plugs(or any other smart home device) are same but the Quality of application functionality defines how much user-friendly it is and in terms of these plugs, third party app is better the actual “TreatLife” for configuration. So if anyone don’t want this headache then go for any other good brand.UPDATE:- Only after a week usage, one plug is dead. It is behaving like turning signal, turns on and off (like blinking light) automatically, so poor mechanism. I don’t recommend these plugs.
