When it works it works well.
This my third unit.. The first was purchased a few months ago and has worked flawlessly . The second one worked for a day or two then both the temperature and humidity levels became way off. This third unit seems to be working fine now for a few days. Obviously the second unit was returned through Amazon without an issue.

Used to trigger we’ll house warming light
This worked easily and connects just fine to my WiFi mesh system. I use it to trigger (through IFTTT) a well house warming light during the winter to keep the pipes from freezing.

Not user friendly
Pros: nice looking and accurateCon app is horrendous. The sensor can only control external units using temperature, not humidity. I purchased this to control my humidifier in the studio and obviously this is useless as I cannot control the outlet based on relative humidity measurements. The app does not trend measurement data, and it’s difficult to use. Keeping both connected to the same WiFi network is very difficult.

Works well outdoors for both temp and humidity. I’d give it 5 stars if it had a power option instead of batteries. We use it in the Las Vegas area and it worked well through the summer temps.

Functionality
If you buy multiple units and place them together, you will see that the humidity can vary between the units with a deviation of over 4%. The app could be better and give a quick view of the temp/ humidity for all units in the icon. A table or export facility would be useful vs. clicking on icon of each unit. For the Feit plugs, you can tell the on/off/offline status on the icon. Thresholds can be set but no way to get an email or text alert.

Not what I thought it was
I usually don’t miss something like this. I had it in my cart for a while and thoroughly read what it was. I clearly misunderstood. I thought I was going to be able to replace my thermostat, but it only tells you what the temperature and humidity is. by the time I realized this I missed the return window so I’m stuck with this useless item. I love Feit because I have some of their smart dimmable light switches.
