Works great but check window size
This works great. Did not need it often but on the super hot days we had it was nice to have.Does not cool the whole house but we closed the doors on the bedrooms and it did a great job of keeping the living area cool.It has bult in expandable extensions that swing out on each side to fill the gaps. Did not work for us as they were to short to fill the whole opening. Easy fix to cut some foam insulation to fill it. Packed the pieces away with the unit so we reuse them next year.Pleased with how quiet the unit is. Did notice a slight rattle from the outside of the unit after about the third use but it is not noticeable inside and the unit works fine.

Cold and quiet!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this AC is the best. I live in a duplex and bought this AC to replace a large portable unit. This AC is modern looking, very quiet, and cooled off the entire first floor of the house. I’ll definitely be buying a second unit for the upstairs. Well worth the money!

air conditioner was very noisy and did not cool 150 square foot room, a fan would have done better. Had to return it which was almost 2 months ago and still no refund

Easy Install, Solid Performance – So Far, So Good
Picked this up after my old Midea unit was recalled. I didn’t know much about TCL air conditioners (though I’m a fan of their TVs), and there weren’t many reviews on this model. Took a chance—and I’m glad I did.Setup was super easy. The window brackets come pre-installed, so all I had to do was place it in the window, fold out the side panels, secure it, and seal it. One of the fastest installs I’ve done.Smart features are a nice bonus. Connecting it to the TCL app took a couple of tries but worked after scanning the QR code on the front right side. It also works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Home, which is great for hands-free control.Cooling performance has been solid. I’ve been using it in a medium-sized living room during some hot Midwestern weather, and it’s kept the space comfortably cool. It does get a bit loud on higher settings, but otherwise runs pretty quietly.Only reason I’m docking one star is long-term reliability. Too soon to say if it’ll hold up through multiple Midwest summers, but so far it’s a great value. I’ll update if anything changes with long-term use.

Produces too much humidity
Yes, it is quiet and easy to install as advertised. Unfortunately, the cool setting produces 20% humidity and the room in which this is installed is 255 sq feet (8,000 BTU). Room is closed off from rest of home. I had to install a dehumidifier to undo the humidity production this unit puts off. Very disappointed with this a/c.

Game Changer
Game changer !!!! I live in east Texas in a very old poorly insulated house . I’m not young and I’m HOTTT a lot, with that being said my house was running anywhere between 75 and 81 degrees with fans everywhere and 3 window units that have not been getting it done ! Put my new AC unit in yesterday and immediately when I turned it in it was the coldest air and was blowing so hard . In 15 min my house dropped 4 degrees and it’s set to 70°. Today it is 68° in my house and I had to turn it up to 72° cause I was freezing !!! It is a great ac !! Has a lot of condensations but it works gr at !! Would definitely purchase again !!

This thing is a beast!!!
I have mini splits in my 28×28 upstairs lift area with a vaulted ceiling. When the temps got 90 plus degrees the mini splits can’t MRI it cool. This air-conditioning unit is amazing!!! Super cold

Product is great so far it really works good the installation was a little difficult because the installation manual is the worst I’ve ever seen as in service for 36 years and the guy that wrote this manual knew exactly what he was doing and for somebody that doesn’t know what they’re doing it needed some work that and they made no provision for to tilt the window to get that 3% drainage on it the window is parallel the the rack that the holes are the piece that holds that goes on to the sash of the window that keeps it from falling out needs to be about a quarter inch taller so that your window you know can work properly you know you can go down I had to cut part of the bottom of the window off so that the window would go down onto that top of the air conditioner rest on that but other than that it was other than the installation manual and that problem with the whole installation manual is little teeny and it’s very hard to understand I just need to spend another 50 cent on the installation manual
