Works with Hubitat, but with a catch (temp scale — read the full review)
Nice thermometer! I have mine stuck to the chest freezer in the garage, so I can keep an eye on it with my home automation. One note: it WILL work with Hubitat, BUT you can’t configure anything on the thermometer, like what the temperature scale is (defaults to °F in Hubitat, but °C on the display — the button to change the display is in the battery compartment kinda under the battery — you cannot change the scale in Hubitat that I’ve been able to find). The manual is available online, and it points to the location. Aside from that, the probe is “water proof” so it has a lot of utility! I might get more for my actual fridge for when we travel, I can get to my home hub and check that everything is ok (and set an alarm in Hubitat anyways even if we are home). RECOMMENDED!

Works well
Works well with Hubitat. The device paired no problem. I have this monitoring my aquarium and it’s in agreement with another thermometer, it just be calibrated reasonably well. Set up was easy with Hubitat, no different than any other Zigbee device.Changing to farenheight was simply double clicking the little button in the battery compartment. It changed immediately.The only quirk is that the battery is a weird size. The cell is large so it will probably last a long time, but finding a replacement may prove difficult.

water resistance had caveats, but a solid product.
IP65 rating does not appear to keep rain out if laying flat and display up. I left it on a table outside one night and it rained, now water is trapped in the display. It still works, but I’ll be sending it back. Purchased two others for indoor use and other than the issue with water, it’s a top performer excellent product and I’m very happy sonoff came out with it. I’m betting if it were upright and being rained on vertically I wouldn’t have my issue.

Works great. If you want air temperature the sensor needs to be in the air and not touching anything. Zigbee is working well with home assistant.

I like these Sonoff sensors.
Really work well and is easy to setup. I purchased several with the probe and one room temperature and humidity unit to replace some sensors that were ten years old and the proprietary network hub they reported back to failed. In one instance I am sing the probe sensor to control a heater using Home Assistant for the control logic. Battery life seems good too.

Ottimo prodotto, si associa tempo zero all hub di sonoff. Molto preciso, lo uso per tenere sotto controllo l’acqua dell’addolcitore esterno e tramite HA mi arriva una notifica se la temperatura dell’acqua arriva a 1° o meno. Schermo ottimo.

Ich habe mehrere andere Sensoren, Schalter etc. von Sonoff im Einsatz und bin mit diesen sehr zufrieden. Ich wollte daher auch diesen Temperatursensor einmal austesten.Auspacken und erster Eindruck:Die Dimensionen des Temperatursensors sind etwa wie erwartet, nicht übermäßig groß, nicht unerwartet klein. Der Sensor macht einen soliden Eindruck. Wie üblich befand sich noch ein Kunststoffstreifen zwischen den Kontakten der Batterie. Um diesen zu entfernen, musste man allerdings zuerst die Abdeckung abschrauben – das ging bei mir mit einer 1-Cent-Münze.Einrichtung und Montage:Das Anlernen in HomeAssistant per Zigbee hat reibungslos funktioniert, der Sensor liefert sofort Werte. Ich habe die Sonde ins Aquarium gehängt, den eigentlichen Sensor dann an eine Leiste unterhalb des Aquariums. Zur Befestigung des Sensors wird eine Schlaufe mitgeliefert und zusätzlich ein Klettband, das auf der einen Seite selbstklebend ist. Die selbstklebende Seite kommt an die Wand, dann kann man damit die Schlaufe befestigen. Sieht etwas ungewöhnlich aus, stört mich an dieser Stelle aber nicht weiter.Funktionalität:Der Sensor liefert zuverlässig Werte, diese stimmen mit der Anzeige des bisherigen analogen Thermometers ungefähr überein.Fazit:Funktioniert wie erwartet und eignet sich für unterschiedlichste Anwendungsfälle. Ich bin auf die Batterielaufzeit gespannt (weil teure Knopfzelle). Falls ich da eine böse Überraschung erlebe, werde ich die Rezension noch einmal aktualisieren. Bis dahin aber 5 Sterne von mir.

Jag använder flertalet Sonoff produkter och är lika nöjd varje gång jag får hem och installerar dem. Jag har två av denna kopplad till Home Assistant för att ha koll på min kyl och frys och de lades till i Home Assistant på några sekunder och utan problem. Nu får jag en uppdatering så fort någon glömt att stänga kyl/frys och en historik på temperaturen så vi vet att allt är okej över tid.Visar sig att jag har onödigt kallt i både kyl och frys så nu spar jag en liten slant på elräkningen också och skåpen behöver inte jobba lika hårt för att hålla korrekt temperatur.
