For Carpal Tunnel Relief
I’ve used trackballs for years. For me they allow easier and more precise control. I suffer from right wrist carpal tunnel and after a half hour or so of computer use my hand goes to sleep. My doctor suggested a handshake type mouse is a more natural position and might offer some relief. Following a fairly exhaustive Amazon search I purchased both of the MicroPack Ergonomic Wireless Mouse’s or more correctly Mice on offer. I was looking for a wired model but could not find one meeting my requirements . The Micropack Wireless Models were the ony ones I could find that could address the carpal tunne. I’m keeping both but I like this one the best. It gives you the option of rolling on top or on the side which is good because when my carpal tunnel kicks in, the thumb does not cooperate. The guy commenting that the back and forward buttons being too close to the ball must not have carpal tunnel because I don’t get close to them. I do find them helpful however, which is another reason I prefer this model, but the rolling on top or the side is most important for carpal tunnel support.

Be Aware this mouse will slip out of your hand!
Hello to all the working class of mice.. I have used right angle or Upright trackball mice for a very good 5yrs as a journeyman do not always have a desk to work on. but I tried this and I can not keep a hold of it. I might be holding it wrong but the major part of the mouse that is in contact with my palm keeps slipping out of my hand I tend to use two hands to use this mouse and it’s not efficient for me. I am not getting a refund cause nothing wrong with the device. a little info to help you.

Compact and easy to set up.
I had my old mouse for several years and, finally, the right click started to stick. I decided to go with this one because of its Bluetooth capabilities and the design. It took about a week to get use to it but now it feels comfortable and easy to use. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Could have been good…
The left button (most used) works perhaps 75% of the time. The scrolling wheel moves sideways enough to make you wonder how long it will last. Too bad because the wrist angle is perfect for me.It is going back.

for WIDE SHORT hands
it’s beautifully silent and feels as good as quality as other known brands, but the design is for a very very specific demo: the WIDE short handed folks. The forward/back buttons are left of the thumb so you have to stretch your reach to get to the buttons. it’s clumsy and awkward. it out right hurt my hands, and I wouldn’t say they’re the daintiest or smallest. I am a former classical pianist, so I can reach quite wide with my fingers, but this was plain awkward in ergonomics. however, it’s going to be perfect for somebody really specific out there!

The mouse quality itself is not bad–it is well-built and feels smooth overall. It does have, at times, trouble with slipping on smooth surfaces. The Bluetooth connection seems stable. It is a decent size to fit in your hand and is easy to use. The button operation has a good feel. I do, however, prefer the optical style as opposed to the trackball, but maybe that will just take some getting used to.
