Safety first
So easy to install! I am very happy with this purchase, although I did not want to spend that amount of money now, it was a good deal and I feel safer with a key lock different from probably 70% of the population. Installed by myself and it was very easy, maybe 10 -15 mins. Programming for Bluetooth and setting up the new key code were easy steps as well. Just read the instructions a couple of times and be ready – once you start the programming is all very fast. I got it right after a couple of times. Also, check if its working while the door is opened and keep the keys on you. Key lock is working fine with the Bluetooth via the Lippert app on the phone and with the combination pad. Love it!

Very good quality
Took 5 minutes to install. I believe the Lippert and Bauer are the same thing. I replaced a Bauer keyed RV door lock with the Lippert Keyless RV door lock and was a perfect fit. I tried one the the RVLock brand locks and I couldn’t get the door closed on my 2025 Grand Design 22MLE so I figured I would go with the same brand that the RV came with and I am glad I did. The bluetooth works great through the Compass app from Grand design. Looking forward to being able to use this in the upcoming season.

Worked good for about 2 weeks!
I have my camper set up permanently in the dry. This locked worked good for about two weeks. The first time the temp dropped to about 40° touch pad went out. I pushed on the numbers about 50 times and was able to revive it for a few days the it completely quit working. It’s like most of Lipperts products, appear to be quality, fits and is what you were looking for, but just won’t last. Going for round two with another brand.

Works with all my Lippert systems well
I have had no problems so far. It installed quick. It does not have a key FOB but the lippert app for this also controls my other lippert made leveler, propane, door lock, and tire pressure sensors all in one app. I am not a fan of multiple apps to control RV functions. There are different units for door opening left or right. Get the right unit or your buttons will be upside down on the door. Small bead of RTV seal is smart on install to keep water out of the underside of the lock where electronic board is. Otherwise time will tell if this lock is great or not. So far it’s a good buy that works well with the rest of my lippert systems all on one app.

My husband installed it and he’s good at this stuff….it was no problem for him. The problem he had was his lack of patience with the lock/unlock feature using the bluetooth. It does not lock or unlock immediately…it may take 10 seconds or less. I love when I come home with my hands full of groceries and before I leave the car I unlock the door using the bluetooth, grab my bags and when I come to the door all I have to do is open it. Very nice! If you’re not using the bluetooth and touching the keys on the door pad, there’s no delay in lock or unlock. Absolutely a great investment and my kids don’t need to have a cumbersome key to bring with them when they come over to tend to feeding animals when we’re gone.

Does not fit glass door on surveyor legend without modification. I had to grind the screw hole on the unit in order for it for clear the glass..when compared to camtek and kohee locks the modification was minimal.
