Quality, Safety, and Effeciency for cheap
Do yourself a favor and buy these. I use them for rentals, and they are life changing. No more locks necessary, and the app functionality is amazing. You can set multiple pins, fingerprints, and you can also include admin overrides. Finger print reading could be better, but that’s the only downside I can think of.Installation is very easy to follow, and I’ve never yet had to make any changes to the door. I can’t say the same about regular locks.I use gateways to be able to remotely make all the necessary changes without touching the lock physically. If you’re running a business, this is a gamechanger.Highly recommend. I’ll keep buying these.

Great lock – Batteries prone to theft.
Great lock, easy to install. Took me no time at all to get it set up, easy to use app.Weak screws included, or maybe I’m just unlucky. During installations, one of the screw heads broke off at the end. Installed just as good with 2/3 screws.Only other bad part, unfortunately for residential area like I got this for (Laundry Room) the battery cover doesn’t lock at all. Seems silly, but you’d be surprised how many people steal batteries out of things.

No fingerprint pad, but cheaper.
I’ve purchased several of these with the fingerprint panel. This one works as well as those do, but it’s $10 cheaper. The fingerprint recognition doesn’t usually work well, so you’re not missing anything. This one looks as good, and has the same quality as it’s big sisters. The battery life depends on the quality of the batteries. I recommend copper-tops, not Amazon Basics. (Sorry, Amazon – it’s the truth).My tenants enjoy these locks. They keep everyone safe and honest! If you have only one tenant, you can take off the “lock” feature altogether. That is, you can set it to be “unlocked” all the time or on a set schedule – I use this feature for bathrooms. No one wants to be walked in on, but no one wants to use a code if s/he is the only person using that bathroom.

Don’t work after 39 days
The lock looked amazing on my door and it worked great for 1 month I purchased this lock not even 60 days ago and it has already malfunctioned. The lock with not accept the code or the key that came with it to unlock from the outside any longer. I have reached out to the company for a replacement. If I am able to get one I will update the review.

Amazing door locks
I have used 3 different locks and thy have been holding strong for the last 3 years. This model doesn’t have fingerprint sensor which is nice as they seem to fail quite often. It looks nice and is super easy to install and set up. Definitely recommend getting one when they are on sale

Convenient!!
This is my third purchase for my rental properties. I have a lot of traffic of people and live in another state so it’s convenient changing codes for each guest!I travel a lot myself and can say I like this SmartLock brand because it has Voice notification UNLOCK, LOCK, or it will let you know incorrect pin. Where as others don’t have Voice notifications.I recommend getting the 3 year warranty on it. The customer service is very responsive through email and if needed on phone. I had a guest get locked out and customer service helped me out with an error that occurred.Comes with keys, card fobs, easy app and gateway wifi.The doorknob is all black and light only appears with touched. Great design style !

Nice lock with flaws
The installation is very easy. Took about 20min. It works good with the app. The only issue I found is that you cannot lock the door from inside without using the app.
