IU-30 is the second generation keypad door knob lock from iulock. It has perfect size with a removable silicone gripper,more snug on handle. It can be adapted to more doors and can completely replace traditional mechanical doorknobs, mechanical door handle locks and door lever locks.
Auto-Lock for peace of mind, so you are never forgetting to lock the door, auto-lock after 4 seconds of being opened, aut-lock timer can also be programmed by yourself.

When installed on metal doors,using the rosette rubber seal will protect your door against from rain and dust.

When installed on wooden doors, 2 small studs of the rosette allow the lock to be installed more firmly.

MASTER CODE
The master code MUST EXIST and can be modified, but cannot be deleted. Therefore, you must modify the matser code when you start using it.

Perfect for closets & pantry’s
Finally, an easy solution to keep my pantry and some closets locked. I have a special needs child which requires me to keep food locked up. I found this very easy to install. I use a very simple two number code. The knob works great. I wish I had this many years ago it has made my life much less stressful.

Exactly what I wanted
This is new, but if it begins to fail, I’ll update as needed.Pro:Lock is very nice looking. It’s very modern, and sleek.It was easy to follow the step by step instructions to change and add a code.It comes with an app you can use to get temporary codes.It autolocks so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to lock your door.It has a rubber grip that makes it easy to open on the inside and the outside of your hands are wet or slippery. The rubber grip is also a godsend since I live in Florida and my house is East facing. I get 6-8 hrs of direct sunlight in the front of the house, and my old door knob would get extremely hot.You can charge the Lock via usb-c if needed, but that is more so the backup battery. Main power comes from AAA batteries.It comes with a template if you need to make the holes, mine fit perfectly in the holes that were already there from my old Lock.Cons:There are no installation instructions. So, if you’ve never replaced a lock or door knob, you would have to youtube a video or something. I have replaced my locks enough times to know how to do it. And the insides have marking that show which side goes up which made it way easier to install.The batteries were not included.The tiny connector cable was folded on itself so when I needed to thread it thru the middle of the lock to connect it to the power source, I had to use soldering tweezers to get it thru. The cable itself kept bending inside of the lock and would get stuck half way thru.All in all, for the price, I think it is a great lock and would recommend. It took me about 15 mins to install, but that is only due to the cable not wanting to come thru the lock. I am extremely happy with this purchase. It’s not perfect, but it is exactly what I wanted/needed.I do need to check and see if the seller sells extra rubber grips due to one of my dogs having severe anxiety and sometimes chewing on the door knob. But that is my issue, not the sellers.

Great overall – minor curiosities on some features
The overall aesthetics, design, and function of this knob set are all excellent. The bolt, locking, and security attributes all seem both precision and heavy duty.The setup or “programming” of passcodes is simple – and easily implemented.There were only 2 “curiosities” I personally encountered. Since I was interested only in a fast installation requiring no advanced features, I did not track down the further information to answer my questions.So for what it is worth…I found the two (knob skirt flange to door surface) rubber sealing gaskets (inner and outer) to be a PITA to install, so they lay perfectly “flat”.On each seal, there is a flat “smooth” side – and its other side has a slight groove (or “track”) in them – which I “assumed” faces the knob, allowing its perimeter edge to “ride in it” – creating a seal between it and the door surface. The assembly drawing provided is not specific enough in detail to confirm or contradict this assertion.However, my best effort to hold the seal in proper positioning – with that track to flange relationship – (to remain perfectly in place around the entire circumference) while tightening the mounting screws – failed.And although there is a continuous seal of the rubber around the knob skirt, it is not uniformly flat and evenly spaced in its width around the flanges, in appearance.This was the case both on the interior and exterior surfaces. Therefore it may be that the seal should be inverted – such that its smooth side faces the knob, while the side with the channel mates to the door surface.My other unsolved mystery was in a failed attempt to successfully program a time period of “delaying the automatic re-locking after an unlock” (using my code) – was successfully achieved.I may be misunderstanding the feature description. But In following the sequence written in the instructions, the lock always indicated an error (red) before I even completed the sequence of codes to be inputted.So setting aside at least one of the fancy features (that I never considered anyway until I read the instructions) this is a very nice knob set.Its materials, design, feel, installation, and security all seem to be of very high quality and never hint that the unit (like most all items now in our market) is made in China.I do recommend this model for anyone wanting this feature set in a door knob that adequately secures your home, yet allows simple passcode access to those granted via the correct code.
