A quality unit from a brand I trust.
First day has been great, exactly what I expected. I haven’t connected it to WiFi yet, but it isn’t necessary either, it works fine without it.The unit has 3 ice cube size settings, and is designed well, it keeps the ice frozen better than my last one. The water chamber is below the ice tray, like most lower cost models, so the water is recycled to make ice.There is an alarm that goes off when the ice bucket is full, it is loud enough to hear from the neighboring room, in case you want to remove the ice. As soon as the ice is cleared, it starts making ice again, without addition intervention. The ice chamber is slightly larger than my last model, and the water chamber is also slightly deeper.The unit is easily cleaned with the self clean feature. To keep it clear of any gunk, it should be cleaned regularly. I clean mine with citric acid, it works very well to keep appliances that use water, clean.The ice so far has been clear, and tastes good, I use filtered water as well. The water chamber has a small plug in the bottom so it can be drained into a bucket or straight into the sink. The unit is quiet, it makes the same amount of noise as my last one. The unit is very good way to use, and super self explanatory.

Worth every dollar!!!
My father-in-law LOVES ice. We got him this as a Christmas gift and he loves it! The whole process to set it up was so fast and easy. He even yelled with excitement “my ice maker is full, my phone just notified me”. He called us again to tell us how much he loves his gift. We are gonna buy one for ourselves now since we know it works so great and we can control it from our phones with the app.

Nice ice
Love this so far. Set mine to small and makes good bullet ice you can eat. Makes ice fairly quickly. Loud indicators when basket full. Fan runs well. Not a silent machine but not too loud either. Overall good quality for good price. Can’t wait til I can afford a nugget machine but this is a good 2nd.

Get the warranty
Worked great for a while. Cube sizes were great options. Made ice quickly. Have a slim line ice maker built into the refrigerator that just didn’t make enough ice for a family of 5 so, I bought this to compensate. Purchased in July 2024. It crapped out on me last week (October 2025). It listed just over a year. Did I get my monies worth, yes. Tried unplugging it, resetting it. It with attempt to make ice but nothing comes out. It is warm to the touch so I believe the fan went up. If you are considering buying this, do yourself a favor. Either get the warranty or get something else. It was cheap but still better than I expected.

Ice on Demand!!! Love it
I don’t leave it on all the time, as initially doesn’t keep ice cold… it melts back into the water and is made into cubes again. But it makes ice fast when I turn it on… Great product

Not all I’d hoped for
I’ve had this icemaker for about two months now after getting tired of dealing with ice cube trays in the freezer. A countertop icemaker seemed like a quick and convenient way to make sure my drinks were cold in the hot summer months. It does function well but I can’t say I’m 100% satisfied with it.To cover the good points first it’s a small and compact machine, and should fit comfortably on any counter space. It’s reasonably quiet and makes ice at a fast pace with a new batch dropping every 10 minutes or so. There are three available ice cube sizes to choose from. Keep in mind this is not a freezer unit, so it makes the ice and the ice then sits in a basket and slowly melts down with the water running into the tank below and the whole process starts over again. This is “soft” ice so it definitely doesn’t last long and will dissolve in water pretty quickly.The machine stops automatically once the ice basket is full and will give you a warning when the water is running low. It has a nice self cleaning option where you just need to add a mixture of water and vinegar and it’ll do it all automaticallyOn the bad side, if you’re planning on getting this for parties or a larger family, it probably won’t keep up with the demand even with the quick 10 minute turn around – the ice melts too quickly and in my house with just two adults we find ourselves constantly emptying the basket especially on the hotter days, then waiting around for the next batch. The machine also has an irritating habit of automatically stopping and giving my an “add water” warning, but when I check it still has water in it. I’m not talking just a tiny bit in the bottom of the tank either – it’s still a good 1/4 to 1/3 full yet the machine flat out refuses to make any more ice until I fill the tank back to the top again. It’s very annoying to have to keep topping it up and restricts the flow of ice even more!Overall I can’t say I would recommend this. It does work, but it’s not as efficient as I had hoped. If I could do it again, I’d look at some larger, more expensive models, and pay the extra. It’s worth a look if you are on a budget and don’t need much ice though
