Glad I bought this. Does a good job. Some things could be better, but this robot is GOOD 🙂
I have had this robot for a few months now and it has spent over 100 hours cleaning my pool, so I wanted to share my experience.I have to say, this works better than I feared. I was worried that it wouldn’t have enough “power” to do a decent job cleaning or result in a short battery life. I do have things that I wish were different, but overall, I am glad I bought it and I am happy with it.Pros:Seems to do a good job cleaning the pool in general.The app has good functionality- including different cleaning modes and the remote control to get it to come to the side when it is at the surface.The battery lasts longer than I would have guessed – I set the robot to do a 2 hour cleaning and it uses up less than 40 percent of the charge. When I set to max time cleaning, it can last well over 4 hours.Cons / Areas I wish were different:1) Our pool has a bench along one side, circle shaped stairs int the corner and also a 2 level small seating / exit stir in the deep end corner – I wish is did a better job getting into the “corners and crevices” – when it climbs the stairs, I don’t see the suction / bottom of the unit or the brush really getting everything… and there is some fine dust / debris left on the surface of the bench and the deep end climb out as well as in the corners by the steps.2) because wifi doesn’t work under water (not the fault of this unit, just a fact), there is no app or remote functionality while it is under water.3) I wish it had a way to customize it more – for example, if it had a general layout of my pool in the app, I would love to give it areas (like the steps and bench) that I could have it focus on. Or, I would love there to be a mode that was high power (shorter battery life, but even higher power vacuum).4) While it has a good battery life, I really wish that I could leave this in my pool for a week and have it run every other day without needing to be charged. It has a mode that allows it to run every 2 days, but the battery doesn’t last a full week… and that isn’t the more robust cleaning mode that I wish.I was a little nervous to spend this much money on a wireless robotic cleaner – my worry was that it wouldn’t do a good enough job (it would have low power because it is battery powered) or that the battery would not last long enough for the robot to give our pool a good cleaning. But, I am happier than I expected to be. It does a good job cleaning and the battery lasts a long time. It isn’t perfect – I really wish is did a better job on the trickier areas where the pool changes levels… and that I could really customize the specific areas where I want the robot to deep clean.Bottom line: I am glad that I bought it and I am a happy customer.

definitely worth the money
We purchased this at the start of the season and couldn’t be happier. The Beatbot works wonderfully, keeping our 18×38 pool spotless. Its durability, long battery life and dual baskets pick up everything, from large debris to the tiniest particles. The grandkids are thrilled there are no more dead spiders at the bottom of the pool. It climbs walls effortlessly and doesn’t miss a spot. Our old robot had a cord that constantly needed untangling, but this cordless one is so much more convenient. I just drop it in, and when it’s finished, it parks itself in the corner for easy retrieval. I also appreciate being able to dispense clarifier while it cleans to leave our water crystal clear.The app loses its wireless connection when the Beatbot is submerged, but I haven’t noticed any loss in functionality. A cover to shield it from the sun and dust would be a great addition.

Beatbox Pro Pool Cleaner – 5 Stars
The Beatbot pool sweeper works as described. It is doing a much better job than our aged Polaris was. The internal filter basket on the Beatbox is equipped with a much finer screen material allowing the unit to pick up sand and other small particles. The Polaris primarily picked up leaves and debris. We typically run it every three days which in our case keeps the pool clean.As an added benefit we no longer have the Polaris and its hose permanently in the pool when we swim and are consuming much less energy now that we are not running the auxiliary pump and have less fixed equipment to maintain.The advertised weight of 27 pounds is easy enough for me to handle, but it does weigh a little more when removing it from the pool until the water drains out. I typically set it on the side, remove and clean the filter basket and then store it in the charging stand so it is ready for the next event. My wife has back problems so in her case stooping down to retrieve it from the pool is problematic.The only other downside is that it does not clean the stairs very well. I still gave it 5 stars based on how well it does everything else.Overall, I would and have recommend this to a friend, especially when facing constant repairs to aging infrastructure or a failed auxiliary pump.

Good coverage of floors, walls, water surface, and water/wall.
Love that it skims the surface of the water. It does a great job on the floors and walls especially where water surface meets the wall. It is heavy and carried from pool edge to electric outlet where it fits well into it’s stand for charging. I don’t understand it’s patterns on the floor, wall, or water surface. I hate that it doesn’t do any stairs/steps. Love the two basket/screen clean up is easy with a garden hose and gets small debris and dog hair. It cannot be my solo vacuum for my pool. It is good about returning to where you put it in the water. Operates for many hours before needing to recharge.

Does a fantastic job cleaning floor and walls
I debate a long time before making the purchase of the Pro model. I watched the TV ads several times, did a lot of research and researched comparison models. I really like the fact that the machine will park itself at the surface level. I just learned how to remotely navigate it to where I’m standing. It does a great job on the floor and walls. I’m no so impressed with the surface cleaning. It seems to take along time to skim the surface and I still had some floating leaves. However, the bottom of the pool looks great and the waterline is the best it has been in a long time. It’s a bit heavy to lift out of the water and I made the mistake the first time of turning it off after I took it out. I put it back on the charger and a few minutes later I had water all over the floor. The machine needs some time to empty itself after being removed from the pool. I generally set it on the deck for several minutes or press and hold the Pro mode button to speed it up. This is my first robotic cleaner and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
Costy –
I got these for my AquaSense 2 Pro for when the originals wear out.They are exactly the same as the originals that came pre installed on the robot.After one season of use, the originals do not show any signs of wear so far. So it may be a few years before I can replace them. That is some great quality parts. I love the AquaSense 2 Pro and everything else from this company has been excellent.

More than expected! First the delivery was days earlier than quoted which was fantastic as my 2 other smaller robots were barely cutting the job together (batteries died after 2 hours, areas completely missed). I had high hopes for this more expensive robot to finally clean the entire pool in one session. After a small battle to get it on my wifi ( needed to manually add it to allow a full 3 minute connect time before timing out and failing which the auto connect kept doing) It was set off to start clean ing my “lagoon style” pool which consists of 3 identical circles offset. The unit slowly sank to the floor, span around like it was checking the dimensions of my pool and started to scrub slowly but perfectly. It was half the speed of my cheap robots but was doing a better job at each pass. The best part was the junk floating on the top was all collected after 4 hours and the water looked amazing. My pool has never been so clean!

Absolut geniales Gerät. Skimming funktioniert solala, da muss der Dreck schon genau mittig auf die Klappe zuschwimmen, windstill sollte es auch sein wenn das Absammeln von der Wasseroberfläche halbwegs funktionieren soll. Allerdings muss man fair bleiben und sagen: von dieser Konfiguration kann man an der Stelle einfach nicht mehr verlangen.Bodenreinigung Eins mit Stern. Absolut Top. Akkulaufzeit dito. Absolut genial. Würde nie wieder was mit Kabel haben wollen. Das haben die Jungs und Mädels bei Beatbot wirklich toll hinbekommen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

I unboxed the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro (robot vacuum, charging dock, instructions, etc.) in minutes from it’s neatly packed box that kept everything safe for delivery. The front and back soft-rubber roller brushes are a full 12 inches wide, and those outer treads drive the robot forward. At each corner, small guide wheels keep it from wedging itself in tight spots. It was fairly easy to map the floor and clang to the walls well thanks to the app. It vacuumed up sand, leaves, a couple of bugs very easily. Two hours later it surfaced on its own and floated to the shallow end for easy retrieval. I pulled it out, gave the filter a rinse, set it on the dock, and it was back at full charge in under an hour.Surface skimming is the one miss. It bobs around, but specks and bugs still float afterward. I wish it had spinning flaps like a dedicated surface cleaner, since that feature was the main draw for me.Cordless freedom and solid floor, wall, and waterline scrubbing are game-changers. 4.5 stars, though, at over $3,000 it’s a definitely a premium buy. If this thing lasts 5+ years, I’ll consider it money well spent for something solid and only time will tell.
