Loud, simple, and best of all—no monthly subscriptions
If you’re looking for a straightforward way to add some security to a room or a small apartment without getting locked into a $40-a-month contract, this system is a solid DIY choice. The main selling point for me was the lack of recurring fees. Once you buy the hardware, you own the service, and the integration with the Tuya/Smart Life app means you get real-time alerts sent directly to your phone whenever a sensor is tripped.The siren is no joke. At 120dB, it is piercingly loud—definitely enough to startle an intruder or alert the neighbors. I found the setup to be pretty painless; it’s mostly a “peel-and-stick” process for the sensors, which is perfect if you’re renting and can’t go drilling into door frames. You can also pair up to 20 different sensors to the one hub, so it’s easy to expand if you decide you need more coverage for windows or back doors later on.There are a few quirks to keep in mind, though. While the hub has a backup battery, I’d highly recommend keeping it plugged into a permanent power source. I noticed that if the battery gets low, it can start chirping or acting up in the middle of the night, and there isn’t a very clear visual indicator to show exactly how much charge is left. Also, the physical instructions are printed in a tiny font that’s a bit of a struggle to read—you might find it easier to just watch a setup video online. Rather than using this as a high-tech fortress for a massive estate, it’s a perfect, budget-friendly solution for a shop, a studio, or a specific area of your home that needs an extra set of eyes.

Not sure is truly secure due to anyone being able to disarm or arm the device as no Pin actually saves, system can be armed or disarmed by anyone through the device itself. Just a button click.

It startles would-be thieves away!
We use this at our auto shop. When the door opens, the alarm is so extremely loud. Which is a great thing! We have had some issues with people walking in and stealing stuff. We usually do not know it has happened until later when we are looking for said stolen item and find it missing and decide to check the cameras. With this new alarm, the sound comes on immediately and will make any thieves leave right then and there. I love that it startles them.It is great because there are no monthly subscription fees. Setup was quick and easy, and pairing everything with the app was pretty simple. The app is intuitive and lets you monitor and control the system right from your phone. Battery life has been excellent so far. And it comes with remotes too for additional control methods.The system functions well. We use it over WiFi. This is an excellent smart security solution that’s easy to install and is very effective. It has really helped us out a lot. Highly recommended.

I’m so surprised how inexpensive this apartment security system is! If you rent and need a basic security system with almost zero damage this is such an economical away to go!!It’s important for people considering it to pay attention to exactly what it is and what it’s not.This is NOT A CAMERA security system (but you can buy and add cameras).The security system in this box uses a door or window sensor, a motion sensor, and a loud siren controlled by keychains and or a smartphone app.This almost zero damage and easily removable security system that works with Google home and Amazon Alexa.It includes 1 a very loud siren 2 a door open and close monitor 3a movement sensor and 4 two keychains to easily arm and disarm the siren.Please note that the movement detector, door detector and siren need AA batteries, the keychains come with the batteries already installed.This is ideal for people that want an SOS system to notify someone thru an app and a system that alerts with a loud siren when a door is opened.This would be perfect for elderly people dealing with dementia or sundowner’s, the alarm can notify a partner or health care worker the door has been opened and the app can notify a family member off site.

Very basic, very loud non-monitored security system
If it’s at all possible to keep this thing plugged in and charged, do it. If you begin to lose battery, it is going to go off (which it did, around 4:10 am). I can assure you that’s going to wake you up as well as the neighbors.Definitely loud. Easy to set up, but you have to download the app. Be careful when looking for apps; this one does not have a monthly subscription fee.You can also purchase additional sensors, which would be helpful for large homes.We are simply monitoring the back doors that lead to outside (and the pool). We don’t have little ones anymore, but we do have to worry when visitors come, including some with very young children/autism and elderly folks with dementia.The sensors install by peeling off the backing and sticking them to the surface.The app sends you a clear alert on your phone. Be advised that this requires wifi to work.There is no camera with this, but it appears you could buy one and connect it to this entire system.Feels like it’s good for what it provides and it’s expandability.You also get an SOS button. It’s basically a panic button that you press and set the alarm off, which might be helfpul if you need to scare off someone and/or alert the neighbors.
