Quality Music with great features
Great purchase. We have wanted a fm radio that played well, looked good, and was easy to set up and use. We got all We wished for plus the Bluetooth feature and the CD player. The programmable stations are another plus. The sound is crystal clear. So glad I took a chance on this. Highly recommended purchase!

Awesome
This radio sounds fantastic! Easy set up for all functions. No problem playing SiriusXM or IHeart radio through the Bluetooth setting. I haven’t had a FM Radio in years and it’s nice to hear local stations. This is an excellent radio and the price is great. I highly recommend!

Remote does not work well
This is a nice home speaker system, however, the remote does not work well. This is actaully the secon AIWA that I have received, as the first one did not read CDs at all (the mai reason I bought it). This second one works well once you get it going. The sound is good and fills the room. The four stars and not five are because of the remote. It sometimes takes pushing the button four or five times before anything happens. I stand directly in front of the unit, load a cd, wait until it is ready, and then push play. wait about 20 seconds, nothin happens, press play again. Repeat this process until cd finally starts playing. The same thing happens when you press pause or any other button. Plus, there is no manual button I can press on the system. It is this bad remote or nothing else. A shame, becasue otherwise a good unit.

AIWA sound system is a Keeper!
I purchased this AIWA sound system a few weeks ago. I give it 5 stars because it delivers a great sound with easy to operate directions. The blue digital display has three dimming controls for nighttime viewing. We recommend this CD player/radio as the price and value make this a keeper. I would put one in each bedroom for soft night time listening to go to sleep by.

Good speaker but I don’t recommend this unit as a CD Player
I found this product by searching on “CD Player.” I was trying to replace my old Bose CD player with something other than a boom box. I should have paid better attention to the name of this product: AIWA Exos Home SPEAKER. If you want a nice-looking, small speaker for your play list or for your TV, this unit might work for you. However, that’s not what I wanted. I wanted a CD player. In my opinion, the CD player component is flimsy and clumsy to use, and the controller is small, cheap, hard to read, and not intuitive. Pretty good instructions are included; however, after several tries, we could not program radio presets. We don’t know why. Without pre-sets, changing radio stations requires clicking fwd and rev over and over. I should have paid attention to other reviewers who didn’t like the controller or had problems getting it to work; however, I know that sometimes people complain because they don’t read the instructions. For example, one reviewer complained about the bright blue display which was too bright for their bedroom. The instructions do explain how to dim that display. Bottom line: The speaker quality seems good, but the CD player and controller both seem flimsy, cheap, and clumsy to use. This unit did not fill my needs. I was able to initiate a return with no difficulty.

Definitely a great stereo system if you’re looking for something with more bass.
This stereo system has great bass. I use it to play CDs in. It has Bluetooth but plays it kind of low volume, I guess cause of the bass. The radio plays FM stations but I have trouble with reception, I guess, cause of location of it. It has a remote cause there are no buttons on the front of it. It has a power switch on the back of it.

All in one system!
I was so happy to find this! I had a similar Bose product many years ago and I actually wore it out. In all honesty, I wasn’t expecting this to be equal to the Bose product but I figured I’d give it a try since I could return it if I was unhappy with it. This is not only equal to my Bose product, I think it actually surpasses it! The sound quality is exceptional and I love that I can play my CDs- especially when so many companies are assuming that cds are obsolete. Also love that it has a fm radio in addition to the cd and Bluetooth functions. The Bluetooth interface is simple to set up and works flawlessly. I’m not a huge music connoisseur but I know what I want in a sound system and this ticks off all my boxes. It is now on the nightstand beside my bed where it functions as my alarm clock, stereo system and cd player- and I couldn’t be happier with it. Exceptional value for all the features packed into this product.

Great for bedroom use
The sound is great for a small, affordable unit like this. Separation is very good, allowing you hear different instruments clearly. The tuner isn’t that great at pulling in signals but we’ve set the antenna wire vertically and that’s good enough for the NPR station we mainly listen to. The remote’s a bit puny too, needing to be just a few feet from the unit. The big advantage of this unit is its Bluetooth feature. We mainly stream our music. Considering that this replaced an old Bose Wave unit, renowned for audio integrity, it’s doing quite well.

Hi all, please note, my reason for this review, is due to the very obvious in the “PLUG” into a wall socket system provided for this Radio. Since I am in Australia the supplied plug does not fit our wall power points.Using an adaptor to fit this system, failed dramatically, due to weight of transformer supplied. The transformer kept falling lose off the wall socket.Hence the item had to be returned. Other reasons for return were, if living in a “Rural Area” forget it, it plain & simple does not pick FM stations as mentioned it would. Also note, Amazon has been very helpful in the return process-so far.
