Exceeded my expectations — amazing quality and performance!
The YOLOLIV YOLOCAM S3 4K camera truly exceeded all my expectations. The image quality is outstanding — sharp, vibrant, and extremely detailed. This is THE SOLUTION
I’m blown away by the quality of this camera!!! Setup was a breeze once I downloaded the software from the YOLOLIV website. Plug and play so no need to worry about batteries dying. You can customize the image settings like you would on your phone’s camera or a DSLR camera. The aperture is top tier. It worked right away with OBS studio and I tested it with Zoom. The image quality is phenomenal. No lag at all in my movements with OBS, either, which was a huge issue with using my Galaxy S23+ as my webcam. Trust the other reviewed when they say their photo doesn’t do this webcam justice because you just have to see it in person to really understand how good the image looks on your screen. I feel it makes me look better than the other cameras I’ve tried (more like what I see when I look in the mirror). Well with the price tag as long as it lasts me a long time.

This is the best webcam you can buy, period.
I started my venture into streaming with a c920x and was never satisfied with the performance, I wanted a legitimate upgrade and after a ton of research I arrived at the Yolocam S3. I want to save you the time and energy I spent looking at different options and tell you that this is the one to get.The hype around the image quality of the S3 is real. The large sensor and narrow aperture produce a cinematic depth of field that also allows for great performance in low light conditions. You are getting DSLR image quality in the form of a webcam. There is no comparison to the c920x I upgraded from in terms of fidelity whether you are operating at 4k or at 1080p, it’s that much better.Autofocusing is snappy, you can set it and forget it. You have a couple different options as far as focus modes and face tracking goes, which means more versatility for different scenarios you may be recording in.You aren’t just getting high quality webcam hardware, the Yolocam Compose software has a robust feature set and a ton of different options for adjusting exposure, color grading, focus and zoom settings, and various other features that allow you to fine tune your footage. These types of options are very important to me because I don’t stream in a conventional environment, I stream in a dynamically lit low light room. The combination of the large high resolution sensor, wide aperture lens, and highly tweakable software allow me to get footage that was never possible on the c920x. I am incredibly happy with it.When you aren’t actively running an application that utilizes the S3, it will automatically shut off, so if you have any concerns about privacy you can use this freely with peace of mind.Finally, I want to also mention how great the team behind the S3 is. I had questions about the software and when I reached out to Yololiv directly, they responded to me the same day. They seem completely committed to continually improving the camera and it’s obvious that they listen to community feedback.

Pretty Close to perfect
This webcam really lives up to hype as far as the quality and ease of use is concerned. I’m very pleased with the picture quality and feel like it’s a great fit for me doing some content creation with. Setting it up with my PC was a snap and it was very easy to get it up and going with OBS for live streaming. Also the clip with the magnetic mount allows for easy mounting on a monitor or even a camera tripod. Really the only caveat with this webcam is that it doesn’t record to a SD Card which is a drag for me as I wanted to be able to use it for recording live shows. I believe that you could only do something like this with the YoloCam live Box which is a huge investment. Not sure why they made recording with internal storage only available with the box. I might’ve gone with an Osbot if I had done more research and found out their units generally do record to a SD Card and have great software to link up several cams for more complex multi shot arrangements. If you’re not going to go in that direction then this a very solid entry point for a very high quality and affordable webcam.

Excellent Depth of Field and Amazing Low-Light Quality
The YOLOLIV YoloCam S3 is the first webcam I used with a truly natural background blur. The depth of field looks great and feels very professional.Low-light performance is amazing, much better than most webcams. The software is also very good and easy to use. You can quickly adjust image details and colors, and if you want more control, there is a full section for advanced color correction.Highly recommended!
