Smart, Reliable, and Weatherproof!
The Wyze Plug Outdoor has been a game-changer for my outdoor setup. The dual outlets are super convenient, and I love being able to control each one independently through the Wyze app. Setup was quick and easy, and the connection has been rock-solid.The energy monitoring feature is a great bonus — it’s helped me track power usage and save on my electric bill. Plus, it’s built tough for all kinds of weather. Perfect for holiday lights, garden fountains, or any outdoor gear. Highly recommend!

Weatherproof and well made; works great with the Wyze app
We purchased this to use with holiday lights, wanting an easy way to schedule on/off cycles, and also control the lights directly whether we’re home or away. We’ve found this plug delivers well for those use cases.Notes:* The cord on this is approximately 5″. The “box”, is approximately 2.75″W 4″H and 1.5″D.* The plugs are standard 15A at 120 volts, 60 hertz (approximately 1,800 watts)* The plugs do not have dimming capabilities, these are on/off only* The plugs (2) work independently of eachtother* All schedules or rules are created in the app, the plug does not have “controls” on it, other than on/off buttons* These operate on 2.4GHz so they will work within a ‘normal’ range for this band. Ours is within 25′ of our home and we’ve never experienced an issue with connectivity.* Setup and connection to the Wyze app was simple and pain free. Creating a schedule was also quick and easy.Improvement suggestion:The plug is designed to hang down, which intelligently keeps rainwater from coming near the points of contact. It would have been great if they used a 90 degree plug rather than the “straight out” plug which causes the cord to then bend at a 90 degree angle. The cord is thick enough that I don’t have concerns about it failing, but it seems like this small alteration would have been a no-brainer. I see this on many of the cheaper, off-brand versions of these outdoor smart plugs.At just under $10 and are very pleased with its construction and performance. We have other Wyze devices in our home so it was nice to purchase a Wyze plug and not have to download yet another app to control smart devices. If you use Alexa, this should work well for you, too.

Great Smart Plug for Outdoor Use
This outdoor smart plug is very convenient for controlling outdoor lighting and other devices. Setup with the Wyze app was quick, and it integrates easily with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. The dual outlets can be controlled individually, which is a nice feature.The build feels durable and weather-resistant, and it has worked well in rain and heat without any issues. The Wyze Outdoorn Pug has been reliable and problem free.I’m using two of these outdoors to control café lights, yard lights, and a big zapper, and they’ve powered everything and worked exactly as expected. They are small enough to tuck away and the small cord makes it work with my outdoor plugs. Setup was straightforward, and I haven’t had any connection issues since installing them. They’ve stayed responsive even being used outside daily, so they are definitely durable and waterproof.The Wyze app is simple and intuitive, making it easy to turn each outlet on or off individually. The product works exactly as it is supposed to.
The product works exactly as it is supposed to. I use it for flood lights and porch string lights – where each outlet is separately addressable on the Wyze application. Easy to connect with application/WiFi. Even though it is an outdoor product, I’ve installed it under the canopy of the porch with very little direct rain/precipitation. It has worked 100% for several months. I have an indoor unit installed under a similar application for over two (2) years that has been 100% (the outdoor unit was out of stock for several months).
