It works just feels cheaply made.
I was looking for motion detector that does not run on batteries, but rather from a wall outlet. This product was the closest I could find. It appears to be a new product with only a few reviews, and those reviews were from people who are given the product for free to test.As someone who actually purchased the product, here is my unbiased review.I have had the product for about three weeks now. Set up was easy. I already had the smart life application installed for another product. The unit works well, I get very, very few false notifications. When testing I do get notifications on my phone within seconds (I did turn wifi off and was using cellular data for the test). I have removed the batteries left the unit unplugged for hours and plugged it back in and it works just fine, no setting lost.Because of my testing, I am going to buy a second unit. The reason why I give four stars and not five is because the unit does feel really flimsy/cheaply made on the outside I can only imagine about the inside. I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for something that was a better quality. However, this item suits my needs, and it is the closest to what I’m looking for.Update – I have left the units at a vacation home For about two months. I have not received any alarms during those two month but The application shows the units are active. Two days before I went up to the vacation home I received two false alarms. When I made my way to my vacation home and walked in the door, all three units alerted me that motion was detected. So the units are definitely working, and I feel more comfortable with them. The reason why my rating again is 4 stars is I feel they could be a little bit better quality. They’re good units, but I wouldn’t mind paying a little bit more for something more sturdier.Update 2 – 7/2025… The units are still working as expected. I do but use battery but the plug into an outlet. The reason being if the power is out so is my Internet, so it makes no sense to have these units runoff battery. In addition since it is a vacation home, there’s always a chance of the batteries, causing corrosion at the connections. I updated my stars to five out of five.

Can’t tune sensitivity
This was easy to install, easy to connect to tuya, inexpensive, and the exterior is exactly as advertised. The problem is that there’s no way I could find to tune the sensitivity. As a result, I get false alarms in my garage every time the wind blows, or a mouse moves across the floor. I had to disconnect it and try something else

Works as expected
Simple to configure and so far, it has worked well. It hasn’t dropped network like some other products installed in same location. Very happy with it.

This motion detector does everything they advertise it will do.It is very sensitive and the placement is very important. My advice is to test its operation before you permanently mount it. I tried several locations before I found one that worked well. It was detecting traffic on the street through a screen.

Very good customer service
I had a problem with this after 2 months (lost wifi connection and would not reconnect). I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement right away. So 5 stars for customer service and hopefully this will last longer.
