Decent deadbolt
This is an nice key less deadbolt solution.It is housed in a generic brown box but clearly is labeled and has a nice picture on it so it can be given and unwrapped as a gift.Setup and functionality is pretty straightforward, though it does require an internet connection as well as downloading and installing the “KK Home” App. A simple search shows that it is legitimately associated with Veise, though possibly has some issues with older versions of the App.What I do not like is that the app requires registration in order to function (I know, it’s expected but I’d like it if it didn’t). And while you can certainly opt to add the lock to your wifi network, it appears it will function without needing to do so – you can setup and control the lock with just the bluetooth connection from the phone (though, even that obviously is a bit of a risk vector, but a much lesser one than simply adding it to your wifi), then unpair the lock and it should be isolated.The lock itself is pretty basic – it feels like a metal front but everything else is plastic, and a bit of the black cylinder flaked off already.All in all, exactly what you would expect at the market level, and recommended if you’re comfortable with that.

This is my third Veise lock, and so far, every one has impressed me with its solid, high-quality build.Installation was incredibly simple and straightforward—I completed it using just basic tools and their clear, illustrated instructions. It truly made the process effortless.If you need multiple keyless smart locks, Veise’s app shines as a centralized hub. You can manage all your Veise devices from one clean interface, making administration simple and convenient.It supports up to 20 key codes and 20 fingerprints, and it includes two physical keys as backup. With this lock, you can easily make carrying a traditional door key a thing of the past. You can also customize the auto-lock timer anywhere from 10 to 99 seconds—perfect for never worrying about forgetting to lock the door again.Overall, I’m very satisfied with the build quality and performance. At around $40 (as of January 1, 2026), this smart deadbolt with app integration offers fantastic value and punches way above its price point.

Great price, features, and support
I was totally fine with my older Veise keyless locks that didn’t have any app or wifi connection. All the features worked well, felt reliable, and I didn’t think I needed anything more. But after trying this newer version that connects to their official KK Home app, I’ve changed my mind. It’s just way easier to manage everything now. I can easily add and delete user passcodes and fingerprints, and I can see who came in when. I can also set the auto-lock delay to up to 3 minutes (which was 99 seconds for older models). I liked that I could still do most setup from the keypad like before, but having the app makes managing everything so much easier.I also like that I don’t have to connect it to the internet unless I want to. I’ve been hesitant about adding smart devices to wifi because of increased security risks, so it’s nice that it still works without it. However, I do like the idea of being able to remotely lock/unlock, so I might change my mind later. Their customer support is also very responsive. I had an issue with my other Veise lock no longer working when I had to replace my door. I got an email response within 24 hours that instructed me on how to reset my lock, which fixed the problem. For the price, features, and support, I love my Veise locks and would absolutely recommend them.
