Great product!
Clear installation instructions and a template for drilling the holes in the thick plaster wall made the installation easy even though I was unfamiliar with the way this kind of bracket worked. I had bought a 43″ Samsung TV from Costco and its power plug had a compact shape that was especially good for the 1″ clearance from the wall to the back of the TV. A standard duplex outlet behind the TV worked fine with the bracket and TV plug. I returned a special recessed outlet to the store since it was not needed. The most important installation tip is to cut the outlet box in the wall and then insert a folding carpenter’s ruler into the hole to measure the exact distance to the studs to the left and right. The actual distances were different from a studfinder’s estimated locations that I had marked prior to cutting the outlet hole in the wall behind the TV. Two metal shapes are bolted to the TV’s four mounting holes and the metal shapes have a hooked top that easily and securely holds the TV yet allows it to slide left or right so that it looks just right. If the TV is a little uneven, the two metal shapes have an adjustment screw to add height on the left or right mount. Once the TV is supported by the wall bracket, a spring mounted clip on the bottom of each of the two metal shapes clips to the wall bracket with a gentle push of the bottom of the TV toward the wall. Removing the TV from the wall is easy, too, thanks to a cord hanging from each of the spring-mounted clips. I am still amazed at the way this all worked so perfectly.

Great TV mount for the price and quality.
I bought this wall mount for my 77″ LG OLED TV. It works great! They provided a range of screws and I found the one for my TV right away. It is completely level and was so easy to put the TV on…it literally just snaped into place. I think this was a great product for the price.

Good low-profile mount
This mount is nice and thin, making TV very close to wall. The mount itself is fairly sturdy. The lack ofa center support between the upper and lower portion of the mount, as is present on competitors products, leaves room for a recessed outlet box if you need to place one in the middle of the mount. I did not notice any sagging after mounting TV and Sanus’s weight ratings are generally conservative. The Sanus website has helpful guidance on where to mount things based on make and model or size TV which was nice and I did not need to break out my calculator. The instructions are good and all hardware was included and is of good quality. I placed some Velcro wrap material behind the mount to make dressing cables easier before tightening mount fully to wall. My TV is not flat on the back so I had to make sure the mount protruded slightly above the thickest point and on my LG 55” I had to use the 2.5mm spacers. A speed square, not included, made it easy to get the rails on the TV squared up. You will need a drill, No. 2 Phillips screw driver, a 7/64th drill bit, small level, pencil, stud finder (or strong magnet) and a tape measure if you want to do this yourself. There is a nice printed template in the box to help with hole placement. I chose this mount because it works on wall stud distances greater than 16” on center and gives a bit more room to move TV left or right to center on wall if your studs are not exactly centered. You need to mount this in to studs or masonry wall (masonry wall anchors included and requires a hammer drill and larger drill bit to use). The TV was easy to mount by resting the top hook on the rails to the mount and then gently pressing button of TV to snap in to the bottom of mount. The rails have screw adjustment to fine tune the level of your TV some if you did not get the rails mounted perfectly square. You will likely need a friend to help lifting the TV on to the mount and to help hold TV away from wall to connect cables as it is very low profile there is not room to reach behind TV after fully mounted. I would also recommend picking up right angle HDMI cables and digital audio cables if you want to connect to set top box, game console, and stereo.

Awesome wall mount!
The Sanus flush wall mount surpassed my expectations. The TV looks awesome and really gives a theater-like feel to my setup. I love that all the hardware was provided—there are various sizes of screws and even spacers to accommodate different t mounting needs. I opted not to use the spacers because I wanted the TV to be as flush as possible but it’s a good option in case you want easier access to the back. Access isn’t that difficult—even after installation, you can move the bottom forward a little bit.The instruction booklet that came inside is also easy to follow and nice and detailed. Be sure to read it carefully and pay attention to the specifications—I ended up having to get longer lag bolts from my hardware store because my dry-wall is unusually thick. I was glad the instruction booklet specified that the included lag bolts were only good for standard 0.5 inch dry-wallI spent several days measuring and planning out the installation. I love that they provided a life-size cardboard template that made this easier. Sanus even has an online tool to help plan and measure the proper height to drill wall holes. Check it out on their website. The best part is they have a customer support line—I came up on a snag, but I spoke to a friendly customer service rep that helped clear up my concerns.Sanus’s customer support, online planning tools, how-to videos, hardware options, and clear and detailed instructions really set me up for success. The Sanus Low Profile wall mount, at a mere 50 bucks, is a stellar value.
