No More Headaches
Head of IT for a health system – I’m on my screen a lot, live on it. I was doing dual screens and honestly growing headaches. I switched to one curved, large unit and… so much better. great value, you get used to the curve and end up loving the viewing angle, brightness is good but the response time and refresh rate along with the curve are what did it for me – it’s just a great monitor. Plug and play. Wish audio controls passed over the wire to the workstation, otherwise it’s great and since I didn’t buy it for that I’m not grading it on that.

Screen Spontaneously Cracked!
Monitor arrived and was good quality but the camera video quality was pretty bad. A couple days later, the screen spontaneity cracked! Nothing was near it. There was nothing stressing it. Apparently this is a known issue with the Odyssey models but I was unaware of that until this happened. Very disappointing since I’ve been a loyal Samsung customer forever.

Very nice monitor… big enough!
Just received it and it’s excellent so far… for connecting the built-in camera you need to use the USB-C cable (included) instead of the HDMI one. Also, for the built-in speakers (which work with the USB-C cable as well), the volume is controlled directly from the monitor panel, not from the computer volume controls (at least in my case).I think if you only need video, without the camera or the speakers, you are good to go with the HDMI (included) cable.

KVM switch
Includes an integrated KVM switch, which to me was a huge selling point: lets you plug in two computers and switch with the touch of a button on the underside of the monitor. Switching sources is easy and fast. KVM also lets you use one keyboard+mouse for both computers. Very happy with the resolution and colors. Never had a curved screen before, and I was surprised that I didn’t notice it at all, after the first couple of minutes. The curve just makes it easier to see at the edges. Speaker sound is great. Screen size is perfect for two windows side-by-side (no need for two monitors). The camera is nice a bonus, but I prefer the higher quality of my external webcam. I’m super happy with this, but it’s definitely pricey. If you can afford it, it’s worth it. Notes:- You can’t connect both computers via USB-C. One will be USB-C and the other will be HDMI.- There are only 2 USB ports for peripherals. I use one for my keyboard/mouse (controls both devices) and the other for my webcam. I would have preferred one or two additional ports.

Sound quality
The monitor is aesthetically pleasing, the picture quality is great but the sound can not be adjusted, even after trouble shooting it’s still problematic.

Incredible for the Price
This monitor is excellent. It works perfectly with my laptop, iPad, and Steam Deck. The refresh rate is perfect for my needs – I use 60hz for gaming (I game with my Steam Deck, so it can’t do more than 60FPS at this resolution anyway, so this is fine) and 100hz for productivity with my laptop. The stand is great and has a ton of adjustability. It can pretty much twist and turn any way you could possibly want. The curve is also very natural which I love. The built in speakers get LOUD! They’re not the most bassy, but for my needs, they do the job! The webcam also works flawlessly and is decent quality as well for work calls. I’m a happy customer!

Defective- Screen cracked after 7 months
In November 2024, I purchased a Samsung 34” ViewFinity S65VC Series Ultrawide QHDCurved Monitor for remote work use. The monitor was carefully installed and remainedstationary on the user’s desk, accumulating approximately 64 hours of use over eight days between December 2024 and July 2025. On July 25, 2025, the monitor experienced a sudden failure, emitting a loud “pop” and displaying a blacked-out section with visible lines, despite no physical impact or movement. Samsung support initially acknowledged the warranty claim and promised repair.However, days later, Samsung reversed its position, alleging the damage was due to “impact” based solely on a photograph, and demanded a $350 payment for repair services. My assertions that the monitor was never subjected to impact was dismissed, and the warranty claim was denied without a physical inspection of the device.After multiple unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue with Samsung, includingescalation to management, repeat requests for payment were continuously received. Asresolution wasn’t provided with the warranty claim being subsequently denied, a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) was filed in August 2025.
