Great quality, incredibly quiet for the air output
I bought this fan (non-DC motor version) to use in my basement living room. I’ve had many fans over the years, this seems to be a relatively new type of fan, so I thought I’d give it a try with a brand I’ve had and trust (Pelonis!). It might sound like some new unproven Chinese brand, but they’ve been around a long time, and are American if I’m not mistaken.First thing I noticed about this fan was the component quality, and it kind of shocked me. The stand is practically exercise-equipment grade metal. Way overbuilt, and I like that. The rest of the fan is understandably plastic, and of perfectly adequate quality. I really like the look of this fan–it’s modern and streamlined. It looks and feels like a luxury product (compared to most fans). The second thing that shocked me was how quiet it is for how much air it moves. It is NOT a high-velocity fan in the traditional sense, and I doubt if any of these type are. Compared to your average pedestal fan, I’d say it’s slightly on the higher side of average. But this thing on high is as quiet as most fans on low while moving considerably more air. The decibel per cubic foot of air seems exceptionally low, it’s impressive. If you’re the type of person who wants a fan in your room but don’t want the noise, I recommend you stop looking and buy this. This has to be about as quiet as it gets (again, for the air it moves). Personally, I like loud fans when I sleep, so I’m not about to swap it with the beefy Lasko squirrel cage in my bedroom. The tone this fan produces is very pleasant. If it were 40% louder, I actually would be tempted to put it in my bedroom.I think the trick with this type of fan is that the beam of air (for lack of a better term) is relatively tight and narrow, so it “pierces” further into the room than a conventional fan. Think of it like a spray bottle in stream mode rather than spray mode (I guess in that sense, maybe it IS a high velocity fan, but compared to most conventional high velocity fans, it’s not moving as much air volume). Combine this with the automatic horizontal and vertical oscillations, and it really can offer great coverage of the whole room.I also noticed that the air feels a bit turbulent (choppy rather than smooth), and I mean this in a good way. It doesn’t produce any weird buffeting noises, it just feels more like a natural wind than a fan. I like that about it a lot.About that oscillation, though: in truth, although neat and probably effective in certain situations, I personally wouldn’t spend extra money for it again. Air circulation in my house has never been an issue, so I mostly use fans for the noise and direct airflow on me. When enabling both oscillations, it just increases the time it takes for the air to fall on me again. As for the horizontal oscillation spread, it’s not as wide as some fans I’ve had (90 degrees). It’s perfectly adequate, but I reckon this fan was designed primarily to be placed in the corner of the room.Value, for the features it has, is good, especially considering the excellent build quality and ultra noise-efficient operation. If you just want a basic fan and don’t care about the nice remote or fancy oscillation, though, you can likely find a better option for the money (maybe even the more basic version of this). All in all, I really like this fan and highly recommend it. I’d just caution those who like to sleep with a fan on at night for the noise that it’s not very loud, but it’s powerful enough that putting it on high to maximize noise could leave you with a stuffy nose in the morning. This thing is designed too well for people like us.

product is well made and an optimal tower fan.
The Pelonis Fan is an optimal fan for the warmer days, with its multiple oscillation settings and wind speeds making it an ideal fan to use.The fan is also extremely easy to install. It comes in 2-3 parts which can be installed by twisting items in place and there is no hassle screwing in items. It is also a lightweight fan, which makes it easy to transfer and store away. The fan is noiseless and powerful. I like it very much! Cycle from left to right up and down to better meet all-round use needs! The aesthetic of the fan shows that its quality is also high. The buttons on the fan are responsive to touch. This is really a very practical fan. I hope it can help me keep my bill in the era of rising energy costs in 2025!

    High quality, quiet, petite.
Exceptionally easy to put together only three pieces. The bottom pole can be removed so the fan could be used on a desk or table. It has a panel that is easy to operate in front of the fan, but it also comes with a very easy to use remote control. It’s very very light and easy to pick up and carry from room to room. The white color is very attractive in my bedroom. This is the perfect fan to put in a bedroom. It is attractive and very quiet. The fan has three speeds and oscillates both vertically and horizontally. You could set the fan to stay oscillating or in a stopped position, pointing up towards the ceiling and just have air circulating. I like this feature very much to turn on at night.

High Quality & Intelligent Functions to Cool Down a Warm Room
Like most people you go without things you need until you absolutely need them eventually you’re staring at the thermostat sweating on this is no good I need a better fan…Did a lot of research cuz I didn’t want no cheapy fan I didn’t want something that couldn’t be maintained I wanted a fan that allowed a wide range of oscillation both left right and up down and that’s what this fan does.I also opted for the DC motor version because in my opinion I’ve had a lot of fans especially the window ones with the twin blades and when you leave them on low and medium settings there is this really obnoxious hum from the motor that you don’t hear it when it’s on high but you hear it on low and medium and that is not fun so this one is absolutely whisper quiet on any setting. The only thing you’re hearing is the air moving. There’s no creaky sounds from the oscillation and the motor creates no hum. that’s why my extensive research led me to this winner…for quietness. You don’t have to blast your TV as loud when you have the fan on!I wanted a fan that’s going to last at least 10 years I think this is the one.And it’s pretty obvious it looks cool!it doesn’t have as big of a head, but you feel the air jetting around. Feels like a breeze is coming through your house which feels more natural than just a static fan position blowing on you.And the remote is a nice bonus too, in addition to all the controls that are on the fan itself. And I overheat pretty easily as I have a heart condition, the only thing I wish for is if it had a higher setting for it’s top speed. When I’m hot it’s on 9.Kind of wish it went to 11. 😉
