Easy set up. User friendly.
Nice system and does it’s job. However, it will ONLY connect to 2.4 using the systems app (NGTeco) which I wasn’t able to set up. Lucky, I use the SmartLife app for all my wifi gadgets and it automatically linked to it. Works great, able to control via SmartLife app and receive notifications. I recommend they update the system app to allow 5 wifi.

Great alarm system
This is a great inexpensive alarm that brings great security. I had an expensive alarm system in my house and it was a lot more complicated when an issue came up. The power company hit my power line when they were installing my garage line and it blew out my system. I just left it go because I hated the alarm system anyway it was always beeping. I seen this and thought I’d give it a try and I’m very impressed. It is very easy to set up and very easy to use. It functions perfectly. It features 5 door or window sensors and a motion sensor that work great and alert you if one is triggered. I had hard wire running to keep my other one powered this one I can just plug in where ever there is an outlet. I love this system it is so much simpler than my expensive one. This does not work with 5g wifi. The features are easy to use and the instructions for use and set up are easy to follow. Great system at a very good price.

Works alright, but needs to stay plugged in, wont stay charged
I got this security system mostly so I could make sure that my toddler does not go outside without my knowledge. He has figured out the door locks, so I wanted to make sure that I knew if he attempted an escape! The kit includes multiple sensors for doors so I added them to the front and back door, as well as his bedroom door. That way if he wakes up in the middle of the night, or before everyone else in the mornings, that I am alerted as soon as he opens his door. In general, the system does seem to work they way it’s supposed to. It does come with two remotes that seem to work from a decent distance, it comes with some RFID chips that will turn off the alarm if it is triggered. There is also a way to turn off the triggered alarm manually. The directions on how to change the code though are super complicated and no matter how many times I tried to change the code, I was never able to. Another issue I have with this system is that the alarm part itself does not hold a charge for very long. I don’t think it has made it a full 24 hours before dying. Which means it basically has to be plugged in constantly if you want to be sure that it works the way it is supposed to. This severely limits the amount of places that it can be mounted. At least in my house. There is no good place for me to put this alarm that is close enough to an outlet. I would have to run an extension cord just to keep it plugged in. Not to mention the eyesore with the cords hanging everywhere. I would have liked a system that would at least stay charged for a couple of days. Overall, I just don’t think that this system was worth it for me and my family.

Convenient alarm system.
I have been using this alarm system for two weeks. and so far, happy with how it operates.- You get five door sensors and one motion detector and one keypad and two remotes controller.- Keypad is powered via a USB adapter and C-Type cable. (both provided in the kit).- Backup internal battery in case of power outage.- Keypad is large enough for most people and very responsive. Color screen.- Wifi uses 2.4Ghz, and NOT 5.0Ghz.- To pair the door sensors, press the button on the exterior side of the sensor. Pairs really fast.- To pair the motion sensor, you need to slide off the cover, then press the tiny button (not mentioned in the instructions).- You can easily program timers via the keyboard. Timers include display, alarm entry timer delay, siren time..etc. Same type of settings on any home alarm system.- System has an “Away and Home” setting that is common with any home alarm system.- You need to download the NGTECO HOME mobile app. But be careful when using the playstore. When you search/find the NGTECO app, the playstore kinda fools you. The top part of the page shows the “Easy Homescreen” app, and you assume this is the app so you install it. This app is NOT part of this NGTECO alarm system product. Make sure you only install the NGTECO app that is on the bottom section of the playstore page.- After installing the NGTECO app, you need to register an account so you can configure/operate the system as well as get instant alarm notifications. Very easy process.- You can modify the settings and operate the system from your mobile app or the touchscreen.- Has a “chime” / “doorbell” sound when you open/close doors (i.e. in the disarm mode).- System you if you have an open door (icon shows on the display)- Instructions mention the yellow status LED color on the touchscreen. It’s really orange, not yellow.System is very easy/convenient to use. The motion detector and door sensors work very well. When an alarm trips, the audible and visual sirens are registered on the touchscreen/speaker. The remote control is a little flimsy, but it does work. It would be nice if the remote buttons were indented/depressed a bit on order to avoid accidentally pressing the button. I can easily control the alarm system via the internet (mobile app). Did not even need to read the instructions on how to use this system. Super easy.Never had a false alarm. Motion and door sensors always trigger when door opened or motion detected.Item watch out for:- The product description says that this product comes with a SIM card slot. My unit did NOT come with a sim card slot. What is interesting is that if you read further in the product details, it says the following: ” and optional 2G/4G GSM (region-dependent). Even without Wi-Fi, GSM ensures uninterrupted alerts via calls and SMS”.That term “region dependent” is what bothers me. Does this mean you will be shipped a SIM capable system depending on your region, and if so, what regions are defined? Contacted the company, and they kept telling me each day that they were investigating. I had to send them pictures of the unit to show them that there is no SIM card slot. After four days, they said that SIM card support is region dependent. Never received an answer from them regarding what regions get a SIM card slot. One techical problem i have seen numerous times. The display pad reports an open door. But the door is closed. To fix, all i do is open/close the door again. Or, the other option is to just powercycle the display pad. That will clear the false report of a open door. This problem has coccured on two differt doors.Overall, this is a nice little compact alarm system. Does what it is supposed to do. I already install three door sensors and the motion sensor. Works fine so far. Really no complaints with the system other than the SIM card issue.BTW: The door sensors attach to your door via the sticky pad on the sensors.
