Inconvenient Design – DO NOT BUY
I liked this product initially. It works well and the connectivity is a convenient feature.But the cleaning. My god, the cleaning…There are more nooks and crannies in this stupid thing than Thomas’s English Muffin and makes cleaning (which the manual recommends, should be done every 3-5 days), and absolute nightmare.There are three major parts to this thing:1) The lid2) The tank3) The base1. The lid has the adjustable spout where the atomized water is pushed out. It cannot be removed and because they were likely cutting on material costs, has lots of groves and hollow areas where bacteria can grow due to the way it was constructed. Fail.2. The tank looks minimal but what you realize in an attempt to clean is that the long neck that essentially transfers the atomized water out to the spout is placed in such a location that you can’t easily get your hand or a tool around the neck to clean the corners and interior edges of the tank. What makes it worse is that the genius designers decided to put a lip at the top of the tank to have the lid sit on. This basically further reduces the ability to access the inside of the tank to clean the already hard to reach corners. Fail.3. The base is basically seventh level of hell. Firstly, the only thing that’s removable to clean is a damn flappy thing that I suppose mediates the flow of water in from the tank. Then there is a corner where the contact point for the tank and the base occurs (I assume to provide power to the light in the tank?)–whatever the function this is in the form of a cylindrical object located tightly in the corner of the base. This tight placement essentially prevents any ability to clean out any gunk and nastiness out of the corner unless you use a qtip and meticulously scrub the visible portions of the area. At this point, I can probably get a job as a Renaissance painting restorer because I’ve done this so much. Again, there are too many pieces and fittings, nooks and crannies, along with unseen corners that essentially are out of reach where bacteria can easily grow. MAJOR FAIL.Cleaning each of these every 3-5 days is an absolute nightmare and has become the bane of my existence.I really would not recommend this thing for anyone. Bad design. As a matter of fact, I was going to be nice and rate it 2 stars because of its connectivity but after wasting more time writing this damn review, I’m angry and don’t want to be nice, so I’m dropping the rating to 1 star. Ain’t nobody got time for this.DO NOT BUY.

It seems like it could be a good humidifier if it would just stick to its job, but instead it tries to do some cloud stuff and includes ads. I don’t know why I didn’t includes these things.I frankly wouldn’t care if it did, but apparently it randomly turns itself off if you don’t set up the cloud Bluetooth nonsense and give it internet access.We are returning ours.

We bought this on Amazon in 2022. It continues to work fine, but it is NOT at all easy to clean. I don’t know why it gets such amazing reviews — the only thing I can think of is that as users — some of us have very different ideas of how a humidifier needs to be cleaned. It should be easy to clean ALL parts, not just the obvious surfaces. This humidifier has this crazy tube structure that requires a baby-bottle brush type tool to clean effectively. It does come apart, but not easily, and not when we only use it a couple times a year. I cannot remember how I managed to get it taken all apart last time. Manufacturers should really think of ease-of-THOROUGHLY-cleaning when they engineer these things. I had to ask my husband to get the dang plastic cage-cone-like structure out so I could soak and clean it. There has got to be a better way.

I bought the Levoit 6L 300S humidifier. And here is the annoying part, it’s… fine. It runs. It puts water into the air like any other mediocre little fog machine. No drama. No leaks. No weird smells. It’s basically a polite houseguest who slightly moisturizes your sinuses.But then I needed a replacement part. Not a spaceship engine. Not a diamond-studded watch. A basic but essential part. And Levoit’s response was the corporate version of, “get bent.”So let me get this straight. You can build the whole humidifier, ship it across the planet, and make it talk to my phone… but you cannot sell me one small piece to keep it alive. That is not customer service. That is a villain origin story.At this point, I can only assume Levoit’s long-term business plan is to slowly turn Earth into a landfill of mostly-working appliances. Not because they’re evil in a classic, mustache-twirling way. More like a mild, beige evil. The kind that wears khakis and says, “We appreciate your feedback,” while casually pushing one more usable product into an early grave.To be clear, the humidifier wasn’t the worst. The mist is good. The design is acceptable. If humidifying were a sport, this thing would shirt up for game day.But the company? The company is the coach where not even the portal and NIL can save the program.Verdict:- Product: Meh. Works. Does the job.- Company: masterclass in how to lose customer goodwill in record time.- My mood: Hydrated air, dehydrated patience.

J’ai acheté ce produit notamment pour fournir un meilleur taux d’humidité à mes plantes d’intérieur. Pour le moment, rien à redire, il fonctionne parfaitement. La fonction ‘Auto’ lui permet de se déclencher dès que le niveau d’humidité passe sous un certain seuil et de s’arrêter de la même manière lorsque celui-ci atteint le niveau fixé. Il est aussi possible d’utiliser l’appareil en mode ‘Manuel’ en le déclenchant soit même et choisissant un niveau de brumisation. Le remplissage se fait très simplement par le haut et le contrôle via l’application VeSync est un petit plus pratique.

Excelente. Tengo varios humidificadores. Este es moderno; fácil de recargar el agua, aun con el aparato en marcha. Manejo a través de la app y Wifi fácil, útil y cómodo. Puede cubrir una superficie tal y como se indica, pero hay que pensar en una ubicación adecuada. El higrómetro incorporado es relativamente fiable. Hay que repetir ajustes en Auto para encontrar punto óptimo de humedad relativa para que corresponda a la humedad en el recinto – disponiendo, claro está, de otros higrómetros para comparar. Muy silencioso. Hay que colocarlo a media altura para facilitar la recarga del agua (una jarra grande es muy adecuada) – el manejo de la tapa es fácil y no es necesario quitar el recipiente del cuerpo principal para rellenarlo bajo el grifo (salvo para la limpieza). Magnífica compra.

I am 63. Raised two sons and still in a 45 year relationship with a husband who has chronic upper airway issues. I have bought countless humidifiers. This Levoit model is the best. It has a very large reservoir. It is easy to fill. It works great. I leave it on high all night in my husbands bedroom ( he has. neurological disease that makes him very restless while sleeping) and it keeps his room just right. Not sure what all the complaints are about……if you want a humidifer that does the job well and consistenly this it. Going to order twomore, one for living room with the 30 plants in there and one for my room also. would be great for a babies room or child. Levoit should put a permanent sticker on the reservoir under its name reminding in large letters the units MUST be cleaned once a week as per instructions. LIke all humdifiers!
