Boy am I ever spoiled now with this nifty device!
So convenient! Should’ve bought a few years ago! Even works on some mini Xmas lights that I use all year round on my mantle in which was so difficult to always get to the wall plug behind end table. So happy it works with really low wattage! Use it my bedroom to turn off a lamp high on armoire – so handy!I like the compact size so my other plugs fit into the outlets. Do have an older house that don’t all have the outlets grounding feature so needed to buy a converter adapter which worked just perfect (2 to 3), sold on Amazon as well – very inexpensive.People may think they have a dead battery but it’s wrapped in a skin tight plastic clear film which is hard to notice. Definitely have to remove that for contacts to do their thing!

Extremely convenient and works perfectly
I love this remote control switch with the 3 plugs! It works great in my classroom, which is a large space, and makes it so easy to turn on all of my various lights each morning with the push of a button. The remote works reliably from across the room, and having multiple plugs controlled at once is incredibly convenient.This has been a huge time-saver and makes my daily routine much smoother. I highly recommend it for classrooms or any space with multiple lights or devices.

Great little product…tip: remove plastic from battery
This remote controlled outlet does exactly what I wanted it to do. I use it to control a lamp without having to go across the room to manually turn it on and off. The remote has two buttons…ON and OFF. No need to try to figure out anything else. It works great. This product comes with the outlet, an instruction sheet, the remote, and the special sized battery for the remote. One tip…the battery arrives tightly wrapped in clear plastic, which needs to be removed before putting the battery into the remote. This plastic wrapping is somewhat hard to see, which might explain why other reviewers stated that the battery was dead on arrival.

Time saving set up tips…
Works well… couple things to notice: 1) the batteries used in the remotes are provided, but they’re an unusual size (12v 23a… shaped like a AAA but half the length). 2) the batteries are wrapped in plastic, which must be removed prior to installing them in the remote (I didn’t realize this right away, and wasted time thinking the unit wasn’t pairing correctly… quite frustrating!) 3) the remote sort of has to be pointing at the outlet… not a big deal, but it would be better if that wasn’t necessary. Overall, great little product that I find useful now and will probably really appreciate when setting up my Christmas tree this year!

Great for the price
When I received the remote control it was very cold outside and the battery was cold. I inserted the battery and it would not work, I thought well okay it’s because it’s cold then inspecting the battery a little bit closer I realize there was a plastic wrapping over it. That didn’t allow the connection to work correctly, LOL so I wait until the next morning, to try the remote again,( it was late in the evening when I received it from Amazon.) So the next morning I programmed the remote again and it immediately worked. It’s great for me because I have a bad knee have to have a knee replacement and this way I don’t have to walk to unplug and plug in my Christmas tree. I highly recommend this. If you have trouble walking or have a difficult place for your Christmas decorations to be plugged in this way you don’t have to unplug them and plug them back in

Remote switch works well, but—
At first, I thought the item was defective because the light on the remote did not light up when I pushed the on or off buttons. I happened to have a new A23 battery on hand-so I installed the new battery. The light on the remote lit up when I pushed the on and off buttons, but the switch was not working. I paired the remote to the switch according to the directions-it all works fine now. Note: The battery provided was loose in the box-not in a plastic seal like most included batteries.
