Wrong Watt Reading
I purchased two of these on clearance from my local hardware store. As other reviewers noted, they are hard to program but, if you understand power units of measure, you can download the manual (search for pm3100 pro manual) and it programs ok. That is not my issue.My issue is that it reads voltage and amperage correctly but it does not display current watts correctly. For example, I have a computer plugged in at 1.5 amps at 120V. The watt calculation should be 1.5A x 120V = 180 watts. Instead, the meter shows 1 watt. I tried this for two meters with the same result. I think this is a programming error because the kWHr calculation seems to be right.Anyway, if they couldn’t get a simple calculation function right, it gives me doubt about how accurate anything is on this product. I’d recommend getting a different meter.

Unit works fine but good luck trying to figure it out. Very difficult to understand programming. You will have to go online for instructions. I will be purchasing another unit of a different brand.

Not as easy to use as P3 meters.
I wanted to understand electricity meter usage. This was not as easy to use as P4400 Kill a Watt. I purchased this model, the P3 models, and another brand from Amazon. Hope this helps.
