High quality and easy to set up
This is my first ever projector that I’ve gotten so I’m no expert on these, but this changed my movie watching game! I was a little intimidated about the setup of this but it was SO easy! The instructions were very clear and straightforward and I got this all setup within a few minutes. I thought the only difficult part would be getting the perfect angle, but because it basically straightens the picture for you it was much easier than I thought. It comes with a remote and a cable that you just easily plug in, but you also have to download the Google TV app and the Epson projection studio app. I like that you can control if from your phone if you would like. I thought the sound wouldn’t be loud enough, but in my living room its actually perfect. I am sitting fairly close to it though so that does make a difference. I am curious about how this would sound outside though, and if it would be loud enough because in my living room its almost all of the way up. It does sound fantastic with the Bose powered speakers! I really love how the settings are so straightforward and the brightness and sharpness etc of the screen is easy to change. I haven’t had any issues with any lag and the quality of this picture is outstanding and so colorful. I really don’t ever want to go to the movie theaters again. I have always dreamed of having a projector like this and I am so happy I finally got the change to have one. I do eventually want to get the stand they sell for this so I don’t have to keep putting it on my coffee table! I think this is completely worth the money for the outstanding quality you are getting and I have been recommending this to everyone I talk to about it!

4K projector without 4k functionality
Beware! This is a “4k” projector that has apps that don’t support 4k. For example: Disney+ only supports HD, and Fandango at Home only supports SD. My workaround was to use my Roku Ultra to get a 4k image which essentially means the 10,000 apps on the projector are useless. Im pretty underwhelmed with this projector.

Epson Life studio Projector
I really love this projector. The stand is a unique approach that works exceptionally well, thanks to its highly adjustable base. The 700 lumens are bright enough for a dark room, though I wish they were about twice as bright. The form and function exceeded expectations, even if the specs are somewhat lacking. Picture quality, while not true 4K, is excellent, and the build quality is excellent. Sound is thoroughly adequate (not great) but functional. Again, while the specs aren’t the greatest, real-world use is outstanding.

Awesome little projector!
I LOVE the design of this projector. I’ve looked into getting a projector before, but they’ve all been bulky eyesores that gave “let’s watch a movie in the conference room” vibe. This Epson projector is small and sits nicely on the end table near my bed blending perfectly with the gray color scheme of the room. To go with this seamless design it has a night light function that doesn’t require the projector to be on. Given that it operates on a Google TV platform, I don’t have to attach anything to the ports in the back and keep the design clean. When I’m not using it, I turn it 90 degrees to the side facing the bed, and it really looks like a little light on the end table without seeing the front opening for the light! The stand lets the projector to move in any direction, including 90 degrees up to the ceiling if desired. As for the specs… I’m not a videophile, so if you value specs on a paper, you may want to look into something else. For my needs, it’s perfect! I only watch movies after the kids are in bed, which means the room is pitch black. I have one wall that I project to, and it works great. The brightness is perfectly fine in a dark room (it’s set to 60%). The sounds is pretty decent actually bearing the Bose name. If it’s late night, I use headphones, which I was able to connect to it via Bluetooth. If it’s early enough, then the speaker is fine. For some extra umph, I connected my Samsung soundbar + subwoofer via Bluetooth, which filled up the room nicely. The 4K resolution shines through especially when I switched from projecting onto a wall to a nice quality projection screen. The “auto everything” is perfect. It auto-focuses, auto adjusts keystone, etc when I move/tilt it. I can control it via the included remote or the Epson app, which I prefer. I’m fine with the Google TV interface and performance, since one of the TVs at home is a Google TV and I’m used to the UI and functionality. At the end of the day, I’m very happy with this little projector.

Buena imagen y audio. Falta Brillo.

I purchased the Epson Lifestudio Flex Plus for its portability, sound, and picture quality — and in those areas, it performs very well. The image is bright and sharp, and the built-in speakers are surprisingly good for a compact projector. From a pure hardware standpoint, I’m very happy with its performance. However, my rating is reduced to 3 stars because the projector requires Google TV to be used as designed, and the mandatory Google sign-in comes with extensive data collection. According to Google’s own policies, this can include:• Location data• What you watch and search• App usage• Device information• Streaming behavior• Casting activity from your phoneFor a home projector, I feel this level of required data sharing is excessive and should be optional, not mandatory. To avoid this, I used an external Apple TV and bypassed the Google TV interface entirely. Once used this way, the projector works excellent and exactly as I expected — but buyers should know that this workaround is necessary if you want to limit data tracking.
