Best appliance for the job!!!
Great for heating (or not), frothing AND mixing supplement powder.I have been using this 2x daily for about a month. I have purchased many many many milk frothers, warmers, mini bleners, blender bottles and often wound up using several containers and the microwave or stove top to heat the milk.NO MORE!This is the magic machine I’ve been waiting for! One little pot does all the mixing AND heating. And because the pot itself doesn’t have any electronics (they’re in the base) …Nor any fixed moving parts, it is a brilliant design! The pot sits atop the base which has both the warming element and a magnet that works to turn the paddle or mixer inside the pot.The paddle (frothing) or mixer attachment simple drop over top of the post inside the pot and are activated to spin by the magnetic in the base beneath the pot.Automatic timer stirs and heats (if desired) to the exact temp you’ve selected. AND it mixes my Moonbrew (night tea) and my Mudwtr (morning tea) along with my Organixx Collagen powder beautifully! When I use whole milk I don’t even need the frother for the most beautiful thick and creamy foam.Clean up is quick and easy. The little attachment comes out easily and the pot is dishwasher safe.Because I do use it 2x daily, use a bottle brush to clean out the pot and lightly scrub the disk attachment so that its ready for the next time. This one is a keeper for sure. Yes, it is pricier than some other options, but the designers have removed the issues I’ve had with others, it is so much easier to clean and eliminates multiple appliances for the task.I really love my Dreo.p.s. one hint if heating your beverage of choice…leave the lid off and the temp will be perfect as selected. When I left the top on, my beverage wasn’t as hot as I wanted so I can only guess that top was causing a false reading of the beverage temp.

What a frother!
After replacing five or six frothers in three years, I was tired of motors failing, probably with milk particles plugging the motor shaft. This DREO isn’t just a 5-star product; it’s a brilliant, well-engineered, carefully-thought-through product that likely solves this problem with a separate, dishwasher-safe milk container.Excellent Build Quality:Mostly stainless steel, there is nothing cheap about the DREO. The bright, clear TFT display uses both pictures and words to make selections intuitive. It’s also very quiet. The results for our main use—frothing soy milk for coffee—are great. The “Hot Thick Foam” setting produces a creamy, delicious froth. The DREO is a little more expensive than some others with separate milk containers, put it gives us more control.Brilliant Design & Control:- Milk Types: Dairy, almond, soy, oat, coconut…- Foam Types: Hot cappuccino, hot latte, hot flat-white, cold thick foam, hot thick foam.- Temperatures: Unheated and a range from 130°F to 170°F.- Mixer Speeds: Low and high.- The last setting choice is kept in memory for a one button start the next time you use it, after a reminder to insert the whisk.- The results are amazing. The froth, much better than with previous frothers.Documentation and Support:- The Quick Start Guide, Tips to Get the Best Froth card and User Manual are clear, concise, well organized and very helpful.- Obviously manufactured for sale in the United States and Canada, there are support websites for both countries and a toll-free number with support available M-F 9:00 to 5:00 Pacific. We have only used the DREO for about a week, so I cannot speak to its longevity, but there are few things that I have purchased that have impressed me as much with their attention to detail. My wife, after reading this review responded: “You gave it a raving review. It deserves it! It’s great, unlike anything we’ve used before.”

Definitely not the cheapest, but worth every penny!
Never did I think I’d spend this much money on a frothing machine. Especially considering how much I appreciated my $15 Aldi frother, which had finally died. Went through different frothers, the last couple of months. Finally spent the money on the Dreo. This thing is superb! It’ll froth your milk in every single way desired. And the heating is great, too. Over Christmas, family liked the finished products so much, so far two in-laws bought one, too. Perfect latte’s. Perfect cappuccinos. Perfect Mochas. Perfect hot chocolate. Where the people want little foam. Lot of foam, light, airy, heavy, or thick. I’ve also started using it for my matcha. Absolutely awesome, how it whisks up the drink. And this is the easiest frothers I’ve ever dealt with, cleaning wise. The stainless steel can, is qualityOh, in the beginning you may not like the time it takes to froth, if you’re used to other cheap ones. Bugged me the first week or two. Then I got used to timing the espresso, with the timer on the Dreo. Soon you’ll realize, the three minutes it can take to finish that perfect froth, is worth every second it takes. Expensive? Hell yeah. Worth it? Absolutely no regrets. Great product!

This milk frother is what every milk frother wants to be (or…at least what I want a milk frother to be). It has a separate mixing blade for frothing versus mixing, which as it should be. I’ve had so many frothers jam when I tried making hot chocolate from cocoa powder. This frother mixes powder like a champ using the mixing attachment. The container is also removable from the base and actually attaches easily without any connection issues. Finally, the speed, time and temperature are both adjustable and customizable. There are also pre-set settings for different drinks, which makes it super when I don’t want to customize anything. The only downside is that this frother is not very compact. For something I don’t use everyday, I just don’t have the counterspace for it. But, if you have a dedicated drink station in your kitchen, this aesthetically looks great but keep in mind that it does take up quite a lot of counter space.

If you love coffee with any sort of cream, you may like this. I mean, you can always just pour cream into your coffee, but where’s the dazzle in that!! LOL Well, I mean, there’s nothing wrong with that. But I don’t know about you, but I have always loved microfoam cream in my coffee. It just adds a nice fluff and makes it look cool. I do have a few different frothers. One of the most common and affordable ones is the one with a built-in mixer on one end that typically takes a couple of batteries. They are pretty much just a mixer, but the wire tip oxygenates the liquid well enough that you will see tiny little micro bubbles. Especially if the liquid is creamy like milk, hmmm it will look so cool. It tastes the same, but just because of how it looks and feels, subconsciously, I feel the cream is yummier. Anyhow, this is pretty much like those, but it is just a more sophisticated version. So this particular frother creates foam, mixes your drink, and also heats it up for you. Say if you need microfoam for lattes, cappuccinos, and other specialty drinks, you can easily achieve that with this frother. There are apparently 5 different types of foam you can make with this. And it also takes different kinds of milk. Like soy or almond milk. I have never used those in this frother, but the ad says you can. Also, you can use this to mix your drinks. Say you wanna make a protein shake. Just pour the powder, add water/milk, use the mixing head, and start. There are two-speed modes. You also get 6 different temperature settings. So you mix drink or foam, which can be warm, hot, cool, etc. Also, say if you just want a hot cup of milk. Just pour the milk, choose the settings, and you’re done.If you are doing any sort of foam, timing is key with this frother. The foam starts to separate within 30 seconds to a minute, so pouring it into your coffee immediately after frothing ensures the best results. If you need to pause, gently swirling the milk in the pitcher can keep the foam and milk evenly mixed for a short while. However, over time, the foam may break down, with larger bubbles forming and the milk losing its smooth finish. It’s worth noting that once frothed, re-frothing isn’t an option, so get it right the first time for the best experience. Overall, it’s a great multifunctional frother. But weighing what it does and the price, you may want to look for cheaper options. But those cheaper options are likely not going to give you the same quality and ease of use as what you get with this.

All you need is an arrow press and this thing and you can make a latte or cappuccino as good or better than StarbucksAnd this black version is much more attractive than the stainless steel

Don’t get the black version. The paint flakes off. Ive had it for a month, and paint has been flaking off it already. I did use the dishwasher, but it’s advertised as dishwasher safe.Makes silky smooth froth. Takes about 3.5 minutes to make latte milk. Happy with the milk results, not happy with the paint coming off after only a month.
Customer Review –
This Dreo Frother is a more professional unit for those who want to play around with latte art and for those who have ‘expectations’ for their coffee. I am by no means a barista, but I do enjoy a good cup of coffee with a smooth finish provided by the milk. I do have a different unit by Paris Rhone, but there are a few things this Dreo unit really outperforms it that I would opt for the Dreo in comparison, and one of the biggies for me is the interior surface of this particular unit – all stainless steel, much preferred to one with coating. The milk isn’t heated up very much, but still the coating bothers me, I have to be super careful when washing, but with this Dreo unit, washing is as easy as 1-2-3.One thing I thought was odd, was that no where was I able to find the capacity of this frother, and I still can’t see it on the ad after relooking. But, if you are curious, the minimum line is about 240mL, max foam line is 380mL and max stir is about 475ml (give or take 10ml for all). At first, I was a little disappointed to see such small capacity in comparison to how large the unit was, but it actually did not take up too much counter space (since it’s tall rather than wide), and I usually don’t make that much. I like the removable top carafe, makes it easy to wash. And the magnetic attachments are great, especially since I sometimes forget to put it in before the liquid and you cannot see the insert with milk inside.I’ve switched to oat milk recently and the barista oat milk works really well, I’m hooked and have been using this frother everyday, experimenting with latte, and different types of foam, it’s pretty fun. Much smoother coffee!
