Exceptional Heater!! Highly recommend!!
This is the best space heater I’ve ever owned. The Pro model is excellent. Very aesthetically beautiful and blends in with home decor very nicely. Totally silent heater which is great! Easily kept my very large kitchen open concept area very cozy and warm even with below zero temperatures outside. The remote is fantastic as well as it monitors and communicates with the heater to maintain a temperature you choose. The app is awesome and controls it all as well. Works perfectly with Alexa and offers so much information and capabilities. I highly recommend this heater and will be ordering a second one for zone heating in my home.

Heater works well and Easy to Use
Heater was Exactly as Described. Set up was super easy out of the box. I plugged it right in and while there was a little smell, it did dissipate quickly. The remote worked well, but I wasn’t able to connect to the app, because it requires a 2.4 hz signal and my router is only 5G. It is whisper quiet and it gave off a great amount of heat. It says to be used in a 300 square foot room or smaller, but it did a pretty good job in my room of over 500 square feet. I like the timer mode and the auto shut off mode. I am not sure how great it would work mounted on the wall, but i had it on the floor in front of the window and it still heated my room within a few hours. It works well.

Wonderful product, very easy to use
I’m impressed. Very easy to setup up, generates a great amount of radiant heat, comes with a dust cover, instructions for using it via an iPhone app and a remote, feet with rollers. Caution to buyers: #1 – the remote doesn’t come with batteries. It takes AAA. #2This is a radiant heater – it heats objects, not the air via a heat coil and fan. This is why posts from others may state that it doesn’t heat the room. If you’re in a small room with a closed door, it will cast off enough heat from the temperature of the device, similar to getting near the burners on an electric stove. BUT it’s not designed to do that. You will feel the heat within a certain amount of distance from the front of the device.

Not Good For Large Spaces
I got this heater specifically because my room is REALLY big. Like if I did cartwheels from one side of my room to the other, id probably clear 7 cartwheels or more. Its longer than it is wide, but im sure that doesnt really matter. Regardless, I bought this heater because my house is FREEZING, and my room is the coldest area, essily dipping to 40 degrees or so. Some nights i can see my breath in my own room. The baseboard heaters dont do diddly bop and its expensive to run them. I also think the home hasnt been properly weathering. That said, for 2 years ive been trying to find a heater to adequately heat up the large, cold space that is my room. I only heard of mica heaters a month ago, so i decided to get the one I saw was the best rated, despite it being expensive. Ive seen people say it heats up large spaces well, with one review saying that it heated up their 1000 sq ft space amazingly well, and another saying it kept their spot cozy and warm, even when temps dipped below freezing outside. The heater is very nice and attractive, and its super quiet. The controls are a little different but not hard to navigate, and I never connected it to the wifi. It heats up so fast, and I love the 88 degree heat blast feature to quickly heat a space fast. When I was close to this thing, I was super warm and cozy. But thats the issue. Its like I had to be right up on it. I set it on a stand by my bed and had to pull it as close to my bed as possible. I have a king size bed, and couldnt feel the heat on the other side of the bed. It didnt heat up my room at all, even with me keeping an eye on it and always setting it to the 88 degree heat blast, since it automatically switches back to regular heat after 2 hours. And im more than certain my room isnt 1000 sq ft, nor have temps dropped below freezing. I believe my apartment might drafty as well, since it is an old converted town home, but I used another type of heater (that I really shouldn’t be using indoors) and after I turned it off the heat didnt immediately leave like I feel it would in a drafty home, though it did take hours to warm my room. All in all, I dont know if I just got an iffy heater or what, but im going to try to get my home weatherized and try again next winter. I returned it for now because it was just too expensive, forced heat space heaters do better justice to my fingers since they blow hot air and not just radiate heat, and electric companies dont recommend them anyway.

Heats large area well.
The heat on the ground floor of my home is malfunctioning. This wonderful heater is keeping my daughter and I warm this winter. Works fantastic and heats a large area with ease. And it does not make a sound! Sleek design works well with any decor.

Works well, the heater gets hot because it’s a heater, that should be obvious to people buying a heater, this heater works extremely effectively and throws lots of useful heater in a much better method than a forced air space heater would.Comes with a cover and the ability to mount on wall or floor, I don’t really have anything bad to say about it. I’d buy another one if needed.

It warms very well, cost only 1.5kWh exactly. A small room can be warmed very fast and very well. It can be controlled by alexa, and timer to auto turn off after night sleep. It is very safe and money efficient compare to any other small heating method.

My Two Cents –
I have a guest bedroom in the basement, and one of my worries when someone stays with me over the colder months is whether they’re warm enough. I have a tall house (3 storeys plus basement), so it doesn’t help to turn up the furnace – it just makes the upper storeys warm, and it raises my gas bill.When I saw this Ballu Mica Infrared heater, I did some research before actually deciding to order it as I was unfamiliar with mica infrared technology. After getting info and deliberating, I decided to give this a try. It’s not cold yet so I can only assess based on initial trial. The upcoming winter will be the true test and I’ll update this review with further experience.What I like so far:- Lightweight, slim profile and portable. It has a handle, and if I have a guest staying in the guest bedroom, they can also wheel it into the bathroom to use there if they feel cold. (The heater comes with a stand with wheels. It can also be wall mounted, but I prefer having it be more portable.)- Quiet operation. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet this is. There is almost no noise. Considering it’s being used in a bedroom, it’s an important feature.- Heats up fast. Literally in a minute, it can get to the set temperature.- Can pair with Alexa although I’ve not tried that or the app yet.- Has safety features. The heater is ETL rated – Very important for something that heats up. Also anti-tip feet and overheat protection.What’s I don’t like so far:- A “burning” smell. I think this is because the heater is new? I hope it dissipates over multiple uses.- I feel as though the heating is uneven. I think that’s the fact of infrared / radiant heating – it feels warm in front of the machine but the air doesn’t feel as warm. The room is less than 200 sq ft and is insulated, with 2 interior walls and 2 exterior walls. It’ll require experimenting to identify the ideal placement – my first try was at the side of the room which warmed up half the room more than the other.- Came with a remote without batteries. However, there are buttons on top of the heater for manual control.I am not a fan of winter months, but with this heating, I do look forward to giving this heater a good run to see if it works well over the long term, when used for several hours a day.
