Great product with a catch and NO MEMORY
For me, a product worth recommending. Looks good, has a great display and is definitely worth the price. Only one thing is unclear to me – I don’t know if it counts the kWh in the US Grid correctly. Why that? I have a habit of taking things like this apart before I install them. I want to see if they are safe and how they are set up. I noticed (see pics) that only the L phase is measured and only a bridge is installed on the N side. The N side is therefore as well not switched! In principle, this is not a problem if this is for the European market, as in the European grid L to N results in 230 volts, and as N is not switched, this is also OK because it’s not a hot wire. In the American grid, however, I need L1 and L2 to get 230/240 volts (I want to use the product for air conditioning systems, and in this case I need L1 and L2 in the standard American grid) So I don’t know if it counts the kWh correctly, as one phase is just bridged? Does it count only half? However, a user should know that the N side is not switched, because even if it is switched off, there is still power on this side. However, this is not a problem, as a 2-pole breaker hast to be installed anyway, but a user should know about that. In any case, a top product – can recommend it.Add.: Just found out that the Meter dont have a Memory, so unusable for countig some important consume. A small electricity outgage and it starts in zero 0000000kwh

Easy to install and setup
Although I have a Sense power monitor, I needed to be more confident that the actual use by my old freezer was as accurate as it could be. I got this unit and set up a plug and outlet to monitor specific appliance use. I’ve only used it for a day, but so far, so good. I also got a plastic enclosure for it from Amazon. I plan to get another unit to monitor my HVAC system. I like the Tuya app compatibility, but I wish the app were more complete. The price is great, and it was easy to wire.

Funciona muy bien, ojo tener en cuenta, que para medir la energía de unos páneles solares, se debe poner al revés, o sea, poner IN. hacia la casa, y el OUT a los páneles, o si no, no prende, necesita energía y la tiene que tomar de la casa.

Missing a delay timer for low voltage (or no voltage) cut out return
This is a cool device but it lacks one serious feature that I would think most people on unreliable grids could really benefit from. The cheaper units have this feature and it seems like it probably could be added in a future software update. The unit does have a return delay timer for over voltage detect but not on under voltage detect or no voltage. Basically when the power goes out, I want the timer to delay turning the power back on for say 15 seconds to prevent quick off and ons that damage fridges. It also allows the grid to stabilize before connecting. I ended up disconnecting this and going to my old low voltage cut out switch for this reason.

Fácil de instalar, números en pantalla grandes para lectura, interfaz a través de app “tuya” muy completa con gráficas de consumo y se puede poner en ceros las veces que se necesite.
