Easy to use.
This is a really nice rice cooker. It has produced consistently good results. So much easier than cooking rice in a pot on the stove. So glad I purchased it!

Quality in such a small package
Completely outclasses rice cookers of bigger size, with a great top steamer, it makes for great single to two person meals with less cleaning than connected top rice cookers. First meal came out fantastic with plenty of extra rice for fried rice later.

Makes Rice Easy
I never had a rice cooker before and I don’t know why after getting this. It is super easy to use. Just follow the directions and it cooks up perfect rice every time. After cooking it automatically switches to a warm zone so the rice is always ready. It cooks evenly and steams well. We got the white colored option and it goes in and out of the counter/pantry. We use this once a week and have had it for a few months now. It is very durable.

“Newer” does not necessarily mean “Better” in all cases….
Not All “UPGRADES” Actually Make the Grade ~This purchase was made after a bit of internal struggle/debate: I did not want to abandon my faithful Model #ARC-703G, my first ever rice cooker, which I’d purchased back when I was still living in Honolulu and which I’d been consistently using for over the past 2.5 decades without issue, until an accidental fall off of a kitchen counter about four years ago or so, which gave it a couple of unflattering dents & such, but did next to nothing that negatively affected its performance.Even so, I still felt it was time to at least “consider” the idea of a replacement, despite associating with the idea a little sense of betrayal, because a couple of features of this Model were enough to connect with my attention: (1) the “stay warm” feature; and (2) the appeal of a “non-stick” cooking pot — the first for the added latitude it offered for preparing/heating “non-rice” concoctions; the second feature for obvious reasons, especially since my original Model was notorious for leaving a tough thick dried-out layer on the bottom of the pot if not allowed to sit undisturbed for something like an additional 5-8 minutes after the cooking process had completed. As to how I would assess this “upgrade” Model… it’s the mixiest of mixed bags!I of course love its clean & sleek look, but that does not a functional & effective appliance make.So “performance” wise: It works well enough — though in the few times I’ve used it and compared & cross-compared with my original, the final results of its finished cooked product have been a bit “inconsistent” (perhaps requiring a “break-in” period?). However, I’m going out on a limb to say that I borderline-hate the “keep warm” feature, not only because it results in retaining its own (albeit thinner and less-established) “crusty layer” at the bottom of the finished product, but especially because there is nothing relative to an “OFF” switch… you’re either “COOKING” or “WARMING,” with the only way to shut it off completely is by physically detaching the plug from the outlet (not a great feature to have *IF* you want the option to have the appliance shut itself off completely WITHOUT any constant supervisory oversight). As for the equipment itself: The “Non-Stick” pot satisfies in that department — however, it is a MAJOR PAIN that the measuring lines are so obscured that it requires a certain amount of contorting in order to observe that you’re measuring in your liquid in proper amounts. As for the heating base, I EMPHATICALLY *HATE* the way they positioned their “SHORTER-THAN-SHORT” electrical cord, placing it DIRECTLY on “One Side” of the cooker, rather than directly at, or at least angling-out near, the REAR of the unit… thus intensifying the already frustrating situation of having to deal with its inadequate length! As far as “accessories” go, I’m also not a fan of (i.e., I Hate) the squat nearly-flat Wide-Mouthed rice measuring scoop provided with this Model, instead of the taller & more-cylindrical “cup” shape to which I’ve grown accustomed. I’m somewhat indifferent to the provided [hard plastic] scooping spoon, though I would’ve much preferred the “paddle” variety that came with my original unit (I’d long since transitioned over to my “silicone” paddle anyway, so not too much reason to gripe there anyway). One thing this Model did NOT include, which came as a standard item with my original unit, was a small “Steaming Rack,” so it can feel a bit like being short-changed there.Overall, it’s a decent enough appliance – It does what its designed to do pretty much, but it’s got its shortcomings, enough to prevent it from being that “ideal” device… and it performs just well enough in all the necessary areas where the only thing I’d really be missing by replacing my original unit with it is, Homesickness-induced “Nostalgia.”

PERFECT RICE
Exactly what I wanted! The rice was perfect. It comes with a measuring cup and a spoon that won’t scratch the cook pot.LIGHT WEIGHT AND EASY TO CLEAN. So much better than the larger device that I was using. It takes up less counter space too. It’s FASTER than my pressure cooker too.I guess the inner pot has the potential to be seated a little wonky, but I did not have a problem. It’s great for portion control, and less waste. It can make 4 cups of uncooked rice. Plenty for a small group, or a very hungry, very active person. LololTHE ONLY NEGATIVE is that it does not have an auto shut off feature, but I did not see one that did. BUMMER.Probably not allowed in a dormitory. Please make one with that feature so that forgetful people would be covered.

This is one perfect little appliance!!!
I am at the age I want to make simpler, less stressful. I’m also at the age that I am trying hard to keep hold of my “old school” upbringing when it comes to everyday life. Well, I have to say, this little rice cooker has taught this old dog something new!! I always said how ridiculous I though an electric rice cooker is, BUT, after my most recent burnt offerings of rice, I decided to take the plunge, and try something new!! I am so very glad I chose this little gem. I was apprehensive because it was low cost, and well, seemed just too easy to use! I made the first batch of white rice today, and I am over the moon happy with it! So easy to set up, add water to marked lines, add amount of rice indicated on the inside of the cook pot, and push the button down to cook. I do recommend this little baby if you’re wanting something smaller, cheaper, but works as advertised.

米を研ぐ、スイッチを入れる、炊ける。シンプルで最高です。実用最小限の機能に限定されているので、使いやすい。在宅勤務であればタイマー無しでも大丈夫なので、これで充分です。

This made my life SO MUCH easier. I can just start the rice for dinner and not have to watch a pot boil for 20 minutes, amazing! It cooks a cup of rice in about 20-25 minutes and it’s incredibly easy to clean. I have been making beef stock rice with veggies in it and it comes out perfect and moist every single time.

It uses the american plug but getting an adapter isn’t enough since it says it can only use a certain voltage. Voltage adapters break down easily from my mum’s research and also have constant problems with overheating, so just not worth it in the UK

La mejor relación calidad precio. Es bastante pequeño por lo cual es la mejor opción económica para 2 personas.
