Very Reliable Night Vision
The night vision is excellent. Even with the lights completely off, I can still clearly see my baby’s sleeping position. It automatically switches to night mode and the picture remains sharp in total darkness.

This monitor works really well and the picture is bright in the dark. It was pitch black in the room when I took my second picture. It paired immediately when both the camera and the monitor were powered on.struggled with some of the settings. You will need a magnifying glass to read the manual. Several times it said to push the arrows on the monitor to do something and they didn’t do anything for me. I finally figured out that you need to push the back button and then push the arrows to get them to work. This monitor is a really good value for the money. It tells you the temperature in the baby’s room. You can play lullabies over it. You can also set feeding reminders. This baby monitor is fantastic if you’re looking for something simple and straightforward, that allows you to keep eyes on your baby for peace of mind.It’s extremely simple to set up. All you have to do is plug in the camera and plug in the monitor, and you’re done. I didn’t have to do any finicky pairing, I didn’t have to download an app, it doesn’t need to connect to wifi, it’s literally plug in and go. That makes this an especially good monitor for travel, since you don’t need to do anything special to get it set up.The video quality is pretty good, especially for the price point. It’s not going to give you amazing detail, but it provides great visuals to keep an eye on your kids (or pets). You’re able to move the camera up and down and side to side to adjust the angle as needed. There’s a music function as well, which is great for kids who need some white noise, and a microphone so you can talk to your child through the camera.It took me a second to figure out how to adjust the volume, as there are no clear buttons for volume. I had to consult the instruction manual, which explains that the left and right buttons are used for volume, and the up and down buttons are used for brightness settings. If you want to use the directional buttons to adjust the camera angle, you have to hit that little button above the directional buttons first, and then you can adjust the camera angle.The price point is fantastic for a video monitor, and it’s even cheaper than some audio-only monitors out there. If you want a video monitor that’s simple and straightforward with no frills to worry about, this is it!

Great for Pet Spying, Too!
We don’t have children, but we do have two cats that love to get into things. Luckily, they also have a guilty conscience, and are quick to learn — but only if you can catch them in the act! Our cats love to dig into our plant containers, and then bat dirt balls around the living room. I hadn’t the opportunity to see them in action and issue corrections, so this camera came in handy, especially with the two-way audio. The cats are digging less frequently, which is great. It is simple to setup, and doesn’t use wifi. The monitor has a built-in battery for portability, and lasts a decent while. The images quality is solid, even in the dark. And the camera pans and tilts. Overall, a good get!

It’s very easy to use. Virtually no setup. You came with charging cables. The monitor and the camera are ready to go once they are plugged in. Well, actually, you need to press the power button on the monitor to turn it on which took me a couple minutes to figure out. The power button is immediately above the three lights. The monitor has a battery in it, so it doesn’t need to be plugged in to work, but I believe the camera needs to be plugged into an outlet to function.Excellent camera quality. You control it using the buttons on the monitor. It can pretty much scan the entire room. It can pretty much do a 360-degree horizontal turn. I have turned the camera to its back in the picture, so you can see what kind of a turn it can do; that’s why the camera in my picture is facing its back where the antenna is. The camera can also turn up and down, as well as zoom in and out. It has all the functionalities that you can think of for a baby monitor. Excellent night vision as well.It even has the room temperature, but I think it’s at least a couple degrees lower than the actual temperature, but it’s not a big deal.
