Easy to use and does its job well
Solid alarm clock through and through. It serves its purpose quite well and it has a host of nifty features programmed into it. You can adjust the brightness level, so that it’s non-intrusive and dim, but still readable. A nice thing about it is that on the first minute of every hour, the display brightens, which is useful because it grabs your attention and helps to prevent you from losing track of time. You can set up to 2 alarms, which is also helpful and can serve as a safety net so you don’t oversleep. I think the feature that I appreciated the most was that in the event of a power outage, or if you unplug the clock to move it, it remembers the time and date you had it set to, and syncs it as soon as you turn it back on. I’ve had this clock for roughly 5 months and it hasn’t gone out of sync with other clocks, either.So if you want a good, easy-to-use, reliable, reasonably priced alarm clock, this is your best bet.

Very attractive clock, but battery cannot be replaced
Like many users I bought this clock to replace a cable box. The digits are 2 1/8″ tall, more than twice the size of the cable box digits (3/4″) which makes the clock easier to see from across the room. The display is very attractive and the automatic brightness adjustment works well at night. There is also an option to turn on or off “flashing colons”, a nice touch. I don’t plan to use the alarms or “ringtones”. I really wanted to give this clock 5 stars, but couldn’t because of the temperature inaccuracy and lack of a replaceable battery.When displaying temperature in Fahrenheit the clock is inaccurate, 1 or 2 degrees high. I first noticed this when the temperature showed 69, 71, 73, and 75 degrees with no even numbers between them. It never showed 70, 72, or 74. After switching to Celsius, the temperature showed 21, 22, 23, and 24. I compared this to two digital thermometers which display C or F to 0.1, they both agreed within 0.2 Celsius of each other, but the clock display was always 1 degree higher. Not big deal, but this compounds the problem with the Fahrenheit display. The Fahrenheit temperature should change by 1 degree and not jump by 2 degrees.The Features & Specs show “Batteries are Included – No” and “Number of Batteries – 1 CR2032 batteries required” – not true. According to the manual there is a CR2025 (not CR2032) battery inside, but there is no way to replace it since there is no door on the case. Which means that after the battery wears out the clock will no longer remember the time and settings after a power loss. Also, the CR2025 cannot be removed to “Reset” the clock as the manual suggests (hopefully not needed).The clock gained about 20 seconds after 40 days. It came with a USB wall adapter contrary to some reviews, so there should be no need to purchase one.
