Is your workplace or home bone dry? THIS appears to be a pricy but solid solution.
I don’t give many 5 star reviews (and if this turns out to not be worthy after a long term usage, I will revise this review) but this thing really kicks out the humidity. I bought this to use at my office, which, like many offices in Michigan, doesn’t have humidifiers attached to their heating systems so the office is typically VERY DRY in the winter (sub 16% as measured by my and other humidistats on my floor.) (And my building was built only about 15 years ago when people knew about this issue so there really is not a good excuse for this lack.) I was formerly very impressed by a different model of humidifier, but that company doesn’t seem to make or sell them any more. And while that old humidifier is something I used to call the fog machine (and which would, literally, create a fog in a room if allowed to run, full blast, for over an hour in a closed bedroom), this new machine appears to be able to kick out 1.5x-2x the amount of water per hour, AND it has a 5 gallon capacity. So, while it may be 3x the price, and over 2x the height, of what I used to use, it has great value in that it can achieve the humidity I desire, even in an open office space.Why do you need a humidifier? Well, if you live where it gets cold, cold air just cannot carry much water. So even if you have 90% humidity outside at 30 degrees Fahrenheit, well when that air is heated up to 70 degrees, the humidity will fall to 16% because warm air can hold so much more water… and that 16% is not good for your health. I find that dry air leads to getting a sore throat, even if I am drinking 120 oz of water a day. Once I get that sore throat, getting sick tends to follow. Get that humidity up above 30% and that helps you feel warmer and stay healthy. (Don’t OVER humidify, that leads to different sorts of problems.)Humidifiers come in a few different types, but I only recommend the ultrasonic ones these days. They are much easier to maintain and also work much more efficiently and effectively at getting water into the air.The sensor shutoff works well. The UV light is not bad and changes color which amuses some of my coworkers. It assembles pretty easily and I just fill it by pulling the whole top off the bucket that holds the water. The rolling works well too, even when full.I may come back and update this if I ever play with the remote, phone app, or hook it in to WiFi.

Great device! There are some minor flaws.
Excellent device! I really liked the design, especially the rotating spray tube and convenient miniature wheels.Three days after installation, the humidifier is still working properly, but in my opinion there are some shortcomings.1. The backlighting of the control buttons on the device’s panel is very dim and cannot be adjusted. Furthermore, the device only has one type of tank backlighting — gradually changing RGB colors. Selecting a specific color is impossible.2. Despite the manufacturer’s assurances, some water still collects on the floor. I had to install a humidifier on a waterproof sheet to protect the floor.3. And the third, more significant drawback, in my opinion, is that it’s practically impossible to see the current water level in the tank, despite the window and backlight. The control panel and the app also do not provide an option to view the current water level. To see the water level, you have to get right up to the humidifier and bend over. This is very inconvenient. I found a solution in the form of a thin piece of transparent foaming material, placing it in the tank on the surface of the water. Now it reflects the light, and the water level can be seen even from a distance.The manufacturer could have thought of such a detail as a float.But it’s still inconvenient to fill the tank through the back cover without seeing the water level, since the window is located in the front. By the way, a question for the manufacturer: why not make the window wider and extend it to the upper and lower water level limits? Why should I have to figure it out myself?In any case, all these issues can be resolved. Overall, the humidifier is great; it’s easy to set, to move, it moisturizes the air perfectly, and I don’t regret buying it.
