Great meter the only downfall is you cant reset, you just have to keep track of your usage from one month to the next

So far this meter appears to be working extremely well! Just screwed it to the wall and plugged it in, and now I can easily keep track of how much energy my car has consumed when charging (even if I forget to the look on the number on the charger itself).

Poor Quality – Failed in Less Than 2 WeeksI would not recommend this 50 Amp AC Power Meter. At first, it worked fine, but within the first two weeks, the screen started acting up and then went completely out. Even before that, it would randomly reset itself for no reason, which made it completely unreliable for monitoring power usage.For a device that’s supposed to track and display accurate readings, this kind of failure is unacceptable. I expected something much more durable, especially for the price. I’ll be looking for a higher-quality replacement elsewhere.

Works Great!
I needed to have the receptacle flipped 180 degrees and I was able to get inside the box and do it. This allows me to monitor my EV charging Station.Love this meter!

GOOD FOR EVs. BAD FOR RVs
PROS: Works as advertised for 208V or 240V single-phase loads. Not a bad price for what you are getting. CONS: Not for 120/240V circuits so not usable for RVs and similar loads. It only measures current in one hot leg and assumes the load is balanced. And the voltage monitoring wiring inside is NOT fused. BAD. Not an EV rated heavy duty receptacle. Not weatherproof for those that mount your charger outside. And NOT UL listed despite the claim that it meets UL ETL etc. “specifications.”

I’m very satisfied with the 50 AMP model
I bought the 50 AMP unit because I wanted to track kWh’s on my Toyota Rav4 Plug-in (and also my Electric HW heater). I took it out of the box and in 5 minutes I was reading all the data I was looking for. I can’t speak to the problems others seem to be having, but I am more than happy with this so far. I’ve also compared the volts and amps with other devices and they are all consistent with each other. I’d recommended this unit.

Watch out for Mother Nature
This meter did work as expected, however I never really checked to see if it was water resistant or waterproof. I just assumed (yeah, I know…), that it was outdoor safe given ALL RV connections are outdoor. I quickly found out it wasn’t, and the meter failed. Now I’m rebuilding it with a new meter and will be enclosing it in a waterproof container. Lesson learned. It SHOULD be waterproof, or the AD should say “Not intended for outdoor use except where protected from the elements – NOT WATERPROOF!”

1 week and its great so far
Very easy install, super easy to read interface. It showed real time power useage which i find to be an awesome feature. Not sure how waterproof it will be in the snow. If it fails I’ll come update this review. (November 2024)
