Had an extra computer monitor so decided to buy this to mirror / watch videos while on my treadmill. Setting everything up and connecting to my android was straight forward and worked like a charm. No issues so far (been about 2 weeks now). Compact enough to be hidden and great resolution. Price seems to be about right with other brands I’ve seen. Would definitely recommend.

Exactly what you need for screen casting/sharing.
Purchased 2 of these to allow us screen sharing on older TV’s for our training area. Easy to install, clear how to info on home screen to guide you in connecting. Have conducted multiple trainings with no issues. On training we ran it for over 8 hrs no disconnects or glitches.

Seemed fine, but it didn’t work with the lapdock I got. Since I’d only bought this to let me keep use my phone like a laptop from my pocket, I didn’t use it for more than to confirm it worked at all.

Easy to set up for quick casting
The size of this adapter is one of its good points. It is no larger than a thumb drive, easy to store in a small box by the TV stand. I liked that the casing felt solid and the cable was not flimsy. In terms of function, the screen mirroring does work across devices. I used my iPad to stream a cooking video in the kitchen, and the recipe displayed clearly on the larger monitor. My son later tried it with his laptop to play a short clip, and the video looked sharp without lag once the connection stabilized. The sound matched the video timing, which is important when kids are paying attention.The weaker side is setup speed. Sometimes the dongle connected right away, but other times it paused and needed a reset. On one occasion, we had to unplug and try again before it recognized the signal. It can be a bit frustrating when you are ready to start. For storage and portability, it literally fits into a small pocket of my backpack, so I can bring it along to a neighbor’s house if needed. The value is fair, and the device does its job, but it is not a flawless tool. For families looking for an affordable way to mirror content, it is acceptable, just with the expectation of occasional hiccups.

Work traveler here. Bought this to expand my ability to watch downloaded shows from iPad. Be careful with this. Multiple streamers do not allow its use. Never really got it to work. Instructions make it sound simple, but not so easy.
