Troubleshooting network connection issues:
(1) The doorbell camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-fi. Please connect it to a 2.4GHz network.
(2) Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
(3) Verify the distance between the camera and the Wi-fi router; the camera should be within 33 feet (10 meters) of the router
(4) Please enable Bluetooth on your phone, but you don’t need to connect Bluetooth with the device, just ensure the Bluetooth is on.
(5) If you changed your Wi-Fi password, or your camera got disconnected, please reset the Wi-fi connection with the camera:
Press and hold the ring button until the camera was reset, and then add the camera again back to the same App account.

Things to know
This camera is really great and works really good too and stays charged up for about 2 weeks all total and I love it and it’s all I needed to know who is at the door and the video quality and sound is clear as day and the night vision is really great too. This price is really great for this camera doorbell. I highly recommend it.

Good choice and save that money
They camera quality escpically at night is really good. The motion sensor has also worked perfect. There is a subscription to save videos but it’s not expensive. The battery doesn’t have to charge often. Sometimes the speed is slightly slow but not enough to matter and the wifi connects well

Camera quality is pretty nice is records in 720 or 1080 resolution, easy set up as well app is easy to use. Slight lag at first but it clears up battery came with about 80%+ charged and as I was testing the app and camera out the battery lowered to about 70% so battery life isn’t the best but it’s worth the 20 bucks overall it does what you need. You can talk, hear, see live footage for 20$ then for an extra 30$ yearly subscription see playbacks of footage for up to 30days I believe; not bad though!

No need for the wire hook up. Just attach it to your door, hook it up to your wifi…bam! You’re set.And the subscription is $30 a year. You can’t beat that, but you can also run it without the subscription if you choose to

This is the second time I’ve purchased this camera.
This is the second time I’ve purchased this camera, and I use it at the entrance of my party supply store. It makes it very easy to see who is at the door, and it records everyone who comes in. The video quality is clear, and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can check the footage whenever needed. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this camera and would definitely purchase it again.

Shipping and delivery were impressively fast. With the right tools, registration and installation were smooth and straightforward. The video quality is excellent, and the included 30-day playback trial is a nice bonus.My only concern is with the physical security of the unit. It can be easily removed by hand, which makes the pin removal tool feel redundant—especially since a small piece of plastic is all that secures the doorbell to its back cover. As it stands, there’s little to prevent someone from quickly detaching the unit.While the product is affordable and easily replaceable, I hope future versions address this vulnerability. Cost-effectiveness shouldn’t come at the expense of basic security or build quality.

Ok I didn’t even mean to set this up at the time. I really really had to pee and didn’t want to get all involved trying to figure this thing out.I had hit a couple of buttons and pulled the battery tab. And the next thing I knew, I was up and running! Other than putting in my WiFi password I really don’t even know what I did. I was just pushing buttons. So pretty easy to set up.It has a pretty clear display. So nice that these things are affordable for a little protection luxury around your place. I’m not using mine as a doorbell but more so as an eye for the front of my home.Only issue is I get a glare at night because the ring cam is behind my glass screen door. I researched if you can turn off… oh my gosh I just forgot. But if you can turn something off that, that could remedy the issue. I’ll keep researching on that or maybe just have it outside the door more so as it was intended. Oh and I wish it had a few more picture options, a way to kinda tilt the camera up, down, left or right. More settings, etc. Just a few more bells and whistles to modify things the way you’d like it but maybe that’s too much to ask for at this price point.Nice item nonetheless.
