This thing is GOOD
This stand is extremely sturdy, I had to set it to the position I wanted before placing the laptop on it, because the “hinges” are built to stay in position. It’s nice and quiet, and the laptop stays cool. You lose about 3/4″ behind it due to the USB-A plug to power the fan and hub sticking straight out, a 90deg connector/adapter would help that.

Sturdy and Comfortable
I bought this to replace my second laptop cooling pad that was plastic, and had broken. I wanted something sturdy that would not crack or break, as I do use my laptop and cooling pad on my lap. This is very comfortable, with a flat surface so it sits on my lap nicely. The arms to raise it are easy to adjust, and very sturdy, I have left it at this height since I got it and it doesn’t waver at all. The only thing to watch out for is that the fan is only in the center, so if your laptop is running really hot and it vents on the sides of the bottom, its not going to get any airflow there. Otherwise, this was exactly what I was looking for and its well worth the price if it lasts twice as long as my previous plastic ones.

Great Cooling Fan Needs Light Switch and Side USB
This is a great cooling pads on a sturdy aluminum platform. The aluminum will help dissipate heat, but they have silicone pads which prevents the aluminum from making direct contact. You can remove the pads, but I choose not to. The aluminum won’t rust which is a major purchasing consideration in the salt water environment I live in. The platform holds my 15.4″ gaming laptop very stable even while fully raised which is a nice feature. I don’t know why all fans have to have lights nowadays. There should be an option to turn the light off like on a few other cooling pads. Hopefully, that option will become more prevalent. This unit also features a full, USB 3, 4 port hub which is great addition that other cooling pads lack. Unfortunately, the hub is in the rear of the pad while most laptops have their USB ports on the side. It would make more sense to be able to use a short USB cable from side to side minimizing the length of cable needed, but not a big issue. The rear mount is a bigger issue for me because I mount my laptop in a tight space and I don’t have easy access to the back. It would be a huge advantage to have the USB ports on the side. I don’t notice the fan noise so that’s not an issue. The price is a significantly more than baseline plastic units, but justifiable in this case base on the quality of this unit. I highly recommend, but I subtracted a star for the lack of a light switch and the USB ports being in the back.

Very Solid, kind of loud.
First of all when it arrived and I opened the box I thought there is no way mu HP Envy 17″ laptop will be safe on this, it’s too small. Then I set it up and to my surprise it sat on the platform and because of the rubber pads it stayed in place and was just fine. The small USB-to-USB cable everyone complained about was perfect and extra strong, they even through in a USB C -to-USB A 3.0 Converter.I was concerned about the 3.0 USB Hub, since in the picture, it shows a White USB 2.0 input. Everyone knows (or they should) you can’t have 3.0 output if your input is 2.0. To my surprise it is in fact 3.0!The fan is a little louder than some other products but cools very well. You can’t control the fan speed and the blue light is on when the fan is on but over all this is a very good product in a sea of junk coolers out there.I would like to see the top plate bigger and more granular controls but, You can’t do any better than this for the money.I could also see something like this with a switch instead of a Hub for specialized situations like a camera station, maybe you guy’s can work on something like that for the future.UPDATE!!! I bought a second one I liked it so much.

Good First Impression
Just received and started using this stand and it appears well made and solidly constructed. Its holding my 17″ laptop firmly and seems to keep the position I set for it. It does take some effort to adjust the position but that’s a good thing if you want it to maintain it’s position. I like that you can set the monitor height to eye level to reduce neck strain. The fan is audible but not unbearable and not as loud as my PC’s fans when under heavy CPU load. If you do want to quiet it there’s an on/off switch but sadly no speed adjustment for it. Some may like the blue LED accent light, I can take it or leave it but it’s not unpleasant. The four slot built in USB hub is a nice convenience to plug my computer light and printer into. The biggest test will be time and how the fan holds up over that time.

Great product. Very sturdy, and I don’t have to worry about my laptop sliding off or causing the unit to topple over. Has four USB ports (in addition to the USB-power input) which I have plugged my mouse/keyboard etc. into. Fan works very well – it’s a bit loud at first, but got used to it after 10 min.

Finally a proper laptop stand that turned my laptop into a desktop workstation! I love the adjustable height (it can level up to 12″ high), makes work on my laptop much more comfortable with no strain. Wisely designed, sturdy, pretty lightweight, considered for the size and materials used (its all metal with plastic coverings on the arms) and not very expensive for the price. Bonus: USB hub has real 3.0 ports, it can also handle an external hard drive plugged on it, considering most USB hubs aren’t that powerful for such devices.

A MUST FOR LAPTOP USERS!I replaced my KLM laptop coolers which are made for bigger gaming laptops. I find that the single yet giant fan on this one actually circulates faster and more air under my laptop and in it. My laptop doesn’t heat up as hot as it used to anymore. Rather than having multiple fans that aren’t really that efficient. The aesthetic of this stand is also amazing. You can barely see it, not as bulky as my previous one, and you can adjust the height of it easily. The light is kind of irrelevant because it’s blue. But if that’s your vibe then even better! This duo stand and cooler is very very convenient! I have way more open space on my table than ever before! And speaking of space, the USB outlets and ports are incredible! All my wires are hidden in plain sight. My RGB’s are kept behind wo th our leaving a messy look under my laptop. I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS PRODUCT!

This feels really strong and sturdy, maybe a little overkill for my Macbook 13″ but I needed that fan. The added USB Hub is just a nice bonus on top, if you power it thru a Thunderbolt 3 port it powers the fan and splits the data signal to a nice 4 port USB 3.0 Hub, very usable for a home workstation. The only downside the the edge lips are a bit high for ultra-lights, so I do feel the edge on my wrist when using the keyboard on the device itself, something you wont notice using a thicker laptop, or external keyboard.

This shelf has everything you need; sturdiness, a fan to keep the computer cool, and a usb hub. The fan is unusually loud. I ended up turning it off. But the fact it has a built in hub is great. Works well. Would definitely buy this again.
