Easy Peasy! And BRIGHT!
EXTREMELY BRIGHT, but dimmable via the app – which is exactly what we wanted. Lots of white tones available in addition to the color palate. Programmable/customizable for any occasion, holiday, or just for fun. Ours are used in outdoor soffit lighting, but protected from the elements. Sooo…Very straightforward to program (groups, colors, schedules) as long as you take a minute and read the FAQ web page. The FAQ QR code is on one side of the box, the APP QR code is on the other side.Simple, but read the directions. Already ordering another set for the downstairs music room.

Great price and they work perfectly!
Worked right out of the box! I had another brand installed in my basement recessed lights, and had all kinds of issues with them losing the wifi signal all the time. These connected the very first time I screwed them in—have 4 installed and they all connected immediately. The app is a bit confusing (seems it’s used for many other things other than these bulbs), and there is one other note: In the instructions, it says the bulbs will flash quickly (2 times per second) when you first install them. This didn’t happen for me—they flashed, but slowly—maybe once every 2 seconds, so maybe this is just a typo in the instructions. Regardless, they still connected with no issues, and work perfectly with Amazon Echo.

I purchased a smaller set of these by the same brand and so wowed that I went nuts and bought several more to turn my place into a moodily lit fortress of solitude.I never heard of this brand before I purchased the other set, but I’m sold now. Out of six bulbs, I only had a brief hiccup installing one, and that fixed itself on a second try. Thankfully, these use the Smart Life app that I’m using to control other smart devices, so it knows my WiFi and password and does most of the installation on its own.The smaller light had a perfect soft white setting as soon as you plug it in, but these are a bit bluer. They blink to show they’re in pairing mode, and once you’re set up, you can choose your color setting through the app, with a color panel that you can choose your favorite spot on the rainbow, and a white panel that lets you scroll through presets or dial in from the graph.Be aware that like most smart devices, you need a 2.4GHz WiFi signal. Most 5G and 6G routers either have a dedicated 2.4 path (like my Eero) or have an option to simulcast in both 5 and 2.4 (like my old Apple Airport Extreme).Highly recommend. You may not need these lights, but once you have them, you probably won’t want to live without them.

I was looking for an LED smart bulb that was rated for both indoor/outdoor use as many that I have seen on Amazon are indoor only. I came across these and am impressed so far! They came in new unopened boxes and were easy to install into the light socket. The app used for pairing is called “smart life” and it took no less than 25 seconds to connect the bulbs to my wifi/the app. I was successfully able to change colors from my phone and turn the lights on and off from the app. I have not tried connecting them to my Alexa yet, however am pleased with how they function so far.
