Google Nest Screen was green, couldn’t correct. Corner of screen was black. Picture quality was very poor.

Some features not functional
For the most part this unit works well. However, the Nest Cam feature on my device will not complete the set up process. I contacted the seller for support and also worked with Google to troubleshoot to no avail. In the end the selle was unwilling to do a straight exchange for a fully functional unit. The only option I was given was to return and re-purchase at the now elevated price.

Lag is terrible and almost always has been.
Nest and Google REALLY need to fix lag. I have been using Nest and Google Home products since early in their lives. So that means that I just saw all my Nest Protect smoke detectors die. I also saw my Nest home security devices die a couple of years ago. But the thing that I hate most about Nest is that ever since I have used their cameras, the lag is truly terrible. It might be better if I paid for a subscription to their service, but when I got my first Nest cam it was not necessary to pay. A few months after I got my doorbell camera I noticed the lag began to get worse. Over the years it has progressively gotten worse to the point where my Hub Max will barely even connect to show my living room view. I have Google WiFi so please don’t try to blame my WiFi, and I have fiber internet with routine 780+ MBps speeds, so that’s not the issue either. It truly seems to be some type of throttling that has been put on those who don’t pay for the subscription. Just be aware that any commercials or ads that show immediate throughput are likely not real-life.
