Works Well, Good Price, Order Them!
Decent product for the price. 1 out of the 4 did not work out of the package. It was missing the plastic battery tab you have to pull prior to use so maybe the batteries were just dead…Depending on the framing and direction your door opens some of them may have to be mounted differently i.e which part attaches to the stable surfaces vs the moving one. If your door has an edged frame at all, like the pic I attached of my front door, there is absolutely no way to make this work where the magnets will align. I tried every possible side and angle of the door; kind of a bummer that the front door is the one it won’t work for, so I’ll have to find a different type for that. Overall, the ones I did attach to the sliding doors work great. I was worried the single chime mode wouldn’t be noticeable enough but now I almost wish there were a volume setting on it, it’s loud! There will be no missing it, which is the point. I have 3 small kids and a couple dogs. My daughters room has a sliding door out to a deck that I always worry about her wandering onto at night (I put that one on alarm mode), and they like to go out and leave the front door open which is a huge worry given that I have 2 large dogs that are not dog-friendly and we live in a neighborhood where everyone’s lets their pets wander around without leashes all day. Now I can better tell when the door is opened so I can make sure it gets closed! For the doors we use frequently I change it from chime to alarm mode at night, I really like that it’s as easy as flicking a switch to go between them, huge bonus. Overall it’s a good product, but only works with standard framing. I plan to order more for our windows soon.

Great for elderly loved ones.
I purchased this for my elderly parents. They were feeling unsafe in their home. These alarms are very easy to install. There is no code to remember, just a switch for on/off/chime settings. The alarm is very loud. It comes with batteries, and 3M adhesive. They are well made and durable. They are magnets that you attach with 3M tape that will not damage the door frame. The alarm goes off when the door is opened and turns off when the door is closed. Great value, easy installation, added safety and I’d highly recommend.

Loud, has Chime and Alarm setting, but will not work if your door is not flush with the frame
Three settings: Off, Chime and Alarm. Chime is loud. Alarm is REALLY loud. Chime just rings once when you open the door (like you would hear at a local business) and Alarm goes nuts until the door is closed.Includes 3M adhesive to secure the units to the door/door frame.Works as advertised. Why 3 stars?If your door and door frame are not flush, then these will take some tweaking to make work. I had to add lots of extra doublesided tape (close to a half inch) so that the door would be flush with the frame or else these alarms won’t work. Not very convienent if you have decorative trim that juts out further than the door closes.Second, the Alarm setting is great if it scares them off, but the minute you close the door it stops. So if the baddy opens, hears the alarm, then immediately closes, then he knows that the alarm is “fake.” He/she could easily come back when we aren’t home, open then close the door and the alarm would only ring for 5-10 seconds, max, while the door is open.Designing the alarm function to ring for, say, a minute, after it is opened, would make more sense. Heck, even 30 seconds! Enough time to scare them away. If they leave the door open it keeps ringing, but if they panic and close it, then they hear it stop.All and all, these are affordable and seem well-made. Hopefully the battery life is strong as it takes four “watch style” batteries.

This is really good Quality product, enough sound, easy to install

I am satisfied with a product. I have these alarms for almost a year and it’s still in place and working well. Sound is not too loud. It is really easy to set up alarm. Batteries are really long lasting.
