Looks cool, works perfectly, doesn’t pickup background noise, super clear voice according to friends
I’d avoided using a desktop mic for a long time because too many picked up noises around me, and from everyone I’ve asked, my voice is clear and strong and peeps dont’ hear my AC or air filter in the background like too many mics pick up. It looks cool, and is out of the way, it doesn’t need to be inches from one’s mouth, and it takes up only a small maybe 4″ circle of space on the desk. And it’s got some weight to it, it feels solidly made, not some lightweight plastic-y unit. The stand is solid and the there’s no play in the unit, it stays put, and adjusts smooth and easy. It seems well made and worst the cost. You get what you pay for, and this unit delivers on that.

Amazing microphone for the price
I compared the sound quality to other mics I own. Elgato Wave 3 and Blue Yeti. The sound quality is comparable to those. Both of which cost me significantly more. The B20 sound quality is better than the cheaper mics I own (from FiFine and JLab). This microphone launched at $200. It’s not worth that. I wouldn’t pay half that. But if it were $60, that would seem reasonable to me.The reasons I think it’s not worth its originally price tag or anything above $100:1. The software, which is fine, it works. I would want it to incorporate VST Plugins. It’s currently very basic. It doesn’t need to be. Add VST.2. The base should have more weight to it. It doesn’t fee cheap, but I think it should have more weight to have a higher quality feel.3. A 90 degree angle USB-C cable would help the aesthetics a lot.4. It has this “infinite turn” style gain knob. You need to software to know exactly what the gain level is set at. (Or you have to manually test and guess). it should just be a <360 degree turn.So none of my negative criticisms have to do with sound quality. The mic sounds great.

Clear sound, but software takes some time
The microphone is very easy to use and works right away when connected. Sound quality is clear and balanced, making it a good option for gaming, streaming, and voice calls. The physical controls on the mic are simple and practical. The only downside is that the software can feel a bit confusing at first and takes some time to get used to, especially if you want to fine-tune the settings. Once set up, it works well.Overall, it’s a solid microphone with good performance for everyday use.

Good quality table mic
Great quality, good sound for the price point.

Does not work well with macOS
No software for macOS so not possible to update firmware on the item. The gain knob spins freely so it’s impossible to tell how high the gain is. Wouldn’t recommend for macOS applications.

Sounds Great
This used to cost significantly more than what it went for at my time of purchase. The sound quality is fantastic and the mic and super easy to use with a USB connection.

got it for almost 80% off from the original SRP
got this for a pretty way below SRP (20$) for a good condition microphone. This can be used and sounds even better than other 20-40$ microphones available.

DO NOT BUY – Their own software will destroy your microphone.
I received this B20 microphone today and followed the setup instructions exactly. After installing the official EPOS Gaming Suite software, it detected a firmware update for the microphone. I clicked to install the update, and after about 10 seconds, the update failed. The microphone is now completely dead – no LED lights, not detected by any computer, completely unresponsive. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps (different USB ports, different computers, holding mute button while reconnecting) and nothing works. This is a brand new product that was working perfectly until EPOS’s own software killed it. A firmware update should never be able to completely brick a device, especially not from the manufacturer’s official software.I’m returning this immediately and will never purchase another EPOS product. If you’re considering this microphone, be aware that installing their software updates can permanently destroy your device. There are many other reliable microphone brands that don’t have this fatal flaw.Save yourself the headache and buy literally any other microphone. This is unacceptable quality control for a product in this price range.”Pros: None – device was bricked before I could use itCons: Manufacturer’s software destroys the product, poor firmware update design, unreliable

僕が知ってるマイクの中で一番カッコいいです。ps4とmacで使ってますが、usbスイッチャーで接続先を切り替える度にゲインが上がるので下がるのがほんのほんのちょっとだけ手間ですが、満足しています。

The original price in the day was 120 pound. It can be bought for a fraction of the price and it sound exactly like a high end recording mic, with on board controls it’s easy to use and quick and easy.A pop filter can help if your into asmr.

Po podłączeniu mikrofonu i aktualizacji oprogramownia przestał całkowicie działać. Support nie odpwiada i wycofali go nawet z możliwości wyboru.

CONS:-Electrical noise in the mic. I tried every USB port on my computer and they all pass through electrical noise to the microphone. My Blue Yeti Pro does not produce any electrical noise through the same computer and USB ports. Many reviewers have had the same issue with this microphone. This issue alone pretty much kills the microphone.- The EPOS software can only be used when you have set the sound output to the microphone as well.-The gain and volume knobs have no markings and continually spin. This means you have no idea what levels you are at. Big issues if you’re trying to use the headphone straight from your computer or an external DAC since you cant use the EPOS software to monitor your gain level.Pros:-Styling of this mic is awesome really like the look of the mic. Fits in with minimalist desktop setups.-Mute light isn’t blinding like the blue yeti.-Mic is made of aluminum and feels like quality. It’s not super heavy like other microphones which is a benefit since you don’t need a really good mic arm to support it.-Awesome DAC in the mic for headphones. The audio quality is defiantly a step up from my onboard audio and the audio from the blue yeti pro mic. Not very powerful tho so don’t use high impedance headphones.- 0 latency monitoringConclusion:If the microphone did not have the electrical noise issue I would 100% recommend it. It’s pricey compared to other microphones but sounds very good. If you want better audio for your headphones this Mic provides that too so you can save money by not needing to buy a separate DAC. It doesn’t bring anything new to the table so you may just want to spend less to get a cheaper microphone.
