In life you will make purchases. Some of those purchases will come with regret – “why did I ware my money?” Other purchases will seem like such a bargain given how awesome the product was especially compared to the price you paid.This projector is heavily leaning toward that bargain direction. Like I can’t believe so many awesome features are packed into that tiny unit and at that cost. “I should have gotten 2, or 3, or more. “For point of reference I already have a projector that’s a few years old. Bare bones basic but it does what I need it to do.Then this comes along. I set it up off to the side of the room to test it out because I wasn’t sure it was going to be the replacement of my old one. A few minutes later that decision was made. It’s that good.Pros:- built in streaming apps. Hook up the power cord and setup the wifi and you’re good to go. Nothing else needed at this point if you’re happy with the available apps (more on this later)- Within minutes I was on the wifi and exploring the built in apps. It comes preinstalled with Netflix, Amazon Prime video, YouTube, and a few other apps I hadn’t heard of before, plus a “marketplace” type online catalog to download others.- HDMI input or USB input or cast from a phone or table. I attached my streaming stick and a USB hard drive and had no issues with either.- Built in web browser – which you can do general web lookup stuff or use it to access streaming services or games that run in a browser.- Picture clarity was so crisp, clear, and bright- The built-in speaker is surprisingly good. My initial test was just using the built in speaker instead of my sound bar, and it sounded really good – not the one-dimensional “tinny” sound you typically get from smaller speakers.- I hooked up a USB hard drive and I was pleasantly surprised the MKV format videos just worked. On my other devices, the videos would play but there was no sound. On this projector they played fine and even let me change the audio and closed captioning languages on videos that supported them.- The video was super crisp whether it was a few feet away or on the other side of the room.- The screen orientation can easily be changed to allow the projector to sit on a surface, hang upside down, or project from rear or front.- The keystone adjustment was automatic. I had the projector a few feet from the wall on a chair to do initial setup, and then put high on a shelf across the room for actually use – without changing any settings.- Focus is on the remote. No need to stand on a chair to reach the focus knob – just hit the + or – on the remote until it’s perfect. So much more convenient.- Speaking of remote – this hard to objectively measure but the layout just felt intuitive and well thought out immediately. I didn’t find myself fumbling for buttons or hitting the wrong things.- Bluetooth or audio out jack for audio options. Or the speaker can be used as a Bluetooth speaker for audio players, phones, etc. I did not test it as a standalone speaker because I have a soundbar.Cons:- app availability may be lacking if you’re used to other streaming sticks, devices, or smart TVs. Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube and the other built-ins cover a lot of ground, but you may soon notice the lack of Hulu, Disney+, Pluto, Tubi. There is a note in the instructions that says you can run Hulu, Disney+ and some other services via the web browser but I didn’t attempt that. I already have a streaming device with those configured and an HDMI cable was easier than remembering passwords.- When I hooked up my soundbar via Bluetooth, the dialogue was not synced up with the actors’ lips – it was only off by a fraction of a second but it was annoying nonetheless. When I turned off Bluetooth and used a 3.5mm cable it was perfect. Maybe there are some settings I could tweak but the cable setup works fine for our setup (soundbar is only a few inches below the projector. )- the screw insert on bottom for mounting the unit seemed kind of shallow. I initially tried attaching it to a tripod for initial testing, but the tripod base plate only screwed in about half way before bottoming out, so it was not very stable. Could just be my tripod or adapter but just be aware it could be an issue.Overall though, the pros outweighed the cons by a lot and I would buy this projector again without hesitation. Definitely a good buy for the money.

TMY T02 Projector
Since the Item’s web page has a good description and photos, I will not add any more description (other than what is already stated) or photos.I’ve only have the TMY T02 for a SHORT time, so here is my initial review. Once I use it more and if I have issues, or have other things to add, I will add to my review.The TMY T02 projector works great depending on what you want to use it for, and what you expect out of the projector.The projector resolution seems to be good in my opinion for the price of some higher end projectors. It has a 1080P native resolution (1920 x 1080 Pixels). It is advertised as supporting 4k, that is true, but the software decodes the 4k video, but the final image quality you see is still 1080P (Verified with TMY Support)The size of the TMY T02 device is ~8”W x ~6”D x ~5”HThe Interface is VERY responsive and doesn’t seem to have any delays. Focus, Volume, Menu tiles, native apps, Video projection, etc.You can have the projector setup to project in front or back of a screen, mount the project from a ceiling right side up or upside down. It has a button on the remote to change the video orientation.As far as connectivity, it has Bluetooth (Audio out only), WiFi6, HDMI, USB, and a headphone jack for external speaker. I used WIFI to cast my windows computer screen to the projector. It will shows up as T02 on the computer.The remote is basically the same size of a Firestick TV Remote. It has Power, Function to change screen orientation, Connection button (USB/HDMI), Back button, Home Volume (+/-), Focus (+/-) buttons, Mute and hot keys for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Open Browser. Does NOT come with 2 AAA batteries.The TMY T02 does have a screw that you unscrew to have the screen tile, but only comes out 1”.The built in speakers are ok, but if you want to hear better base or treble, you will have to get a external wired speaker or Bluetooth speaker that you can adjust those settings.The TMY T02 does have apps but a VERY limited selection. If you are purchasing the TMY T02 as a way not to have to connect a Firestick, Roku or other streaming type of device, you will still need a streaming device or a computer to get ALL video streaming services that are available. It has Netflix, Amazon Prime video, YouTube, Plex applications that are native to the TMY T02, and you can download others, but NOT many Main Stream Streaming Services are available. It does NOT have all the main streaming service available e.g. Paramount+, HBO, AppleTV, Fubu, Pluto, Roku Channel, Spotify, etc.The TMY T02 does have other downloadable apps including Disney+ and Hulu, but those apps are Web based apps, and not “Full Apps” What I mean by a Web based app is that it has a mouse that you navigate around on the screen to click on tiles or selections in the app, and it didn’t seem to be an app and you just move around the tiles like if it was a native app, etc. Basically it is like if you were watching the streaming app through your computers Web browser (Edge / Chrome / Firefox). The TMY 02 does not have the standard Web Browser (Edge / Chrome / Firefox), but just a 3rd party web browser.TMY Support support mentions, they will work with their software developers to support more streaming apps, but I’ve heard that before on other devices I had. We will see…..NOTE: If you think you can cast streaming apps (Disney+, Hulu, etc) from your phone (Android/IOS), you will NOT be able to, As per copyright, companies like Disney, Hulu and others the streaming companies prevent you from “casting” to external device a like projector. It’s not a limitation of the device itself.The TMY T02 provides a 3-Year Warranty on the projector, and they will cover the shipping fees to fix the device (Verified with TMY Support).I’ve contacted TMY Support by E-mail many times asking questions, and they currently are very responsive (at least in 24 hours). Unfortunately there responses have been early in the morning (EST Time) like 12AM the next day.Here is a list of what has disappointed me about the device.1) Not a big selection of main stream streaming apps. Not all apps are native and seem to be browsing apps. If the streaming services do updates, will the apps still work?2) Does not come with a projection screen.3) Does not come with a lens cover (to protect the lens when not in use for traveling)4) Doesn’t see to be a way to replace LEDs bulb(s) yourself if the LED(s) go bad. I had regular LED light bulbs go bad after a year or two… But since they provide a 3-Year warranty, hopefully the bulb won’t go bad before 3 years.
