The display is nice and easy to read
The size, the accumulated k-watt used, volt and amp displays are an excellent feature. By the way; someone mentioned not understanding what the pf (power factor) was about, not a thing most home owners really need be concerned with, it mostly has to do with heavy loads such as with induction motors like would be in industrial systems or a saw mill for example, resistive loads would likely always show a 1 (thats the good displayed number) and most residentual homes generally need not worry because electric co’s. probably do not apply that factor to their home electric bills.. (Unless you are running something wih a heavy enough verying load to jerk power from other homes on the same grid..

It’s not what I expected
I bought this “energy monitor” believing it monitors both legs of a 240 single phase system. Not so, it monitors one leg. So yo need two of these to monitor/balance the load on your generator. Typical Chinese, the instructions leave much to be desired.

can’t tighten terminal screws
The meter works but I just can’t tighten the terminal screws. I tighten one screw and while tightening the next screw, the first wire comes loose. I bought a different meter and the screws are easily tightened and the wire stays in place while the next screw is tightened. On this meter, I tighten the screw to the point that I am afraid I will damage the screw, then while tightening the next screw the first wire comes loose. Very annoying and frustrating.
